Nektulos guards wouldn't help my lvl 1 dark elf from a pixie, but confirmed working against spiderling and decaying skeleton.

Neriak entrance also has an aggro orc runner pathing towards it that guards won't help against.

The default dark elf bind spot had an aggro decaying skeleton pathing on it, but I'm not sure if it was like that on live.

I cannot remember pixies being in Nek forest for the life of me.....
Are they even supposed to be there?

There are no pixies. Rarely, there is a 'bixie'. Should the guards kill bixies?

should the guards aggro the orc runner? He is delivering a message to Neriak.

I don't recall the orc runner in classic(maybe because it was never a problem) but its model is a crushbone orc and afaik Dark elves are NOT kos in crushbone if they have not killed any crushbone orcs.

I played a dark elf wizard twink on rallos zek during classic and would pk people while standing behind the throne or up in the dvinn tower.

So if this orc runner is supposed to be a crushbone orc it should not be agroing and killing the lowbie dark elves like it currently does on R99.

Runner
Orc runners from Crushbone are connected to the Indigo Brotherhood and are not kos to DE.
Indigo Brotherhood is the DE Warrior faction.
The Indigo Brotherhood is lead by King Naythox Thex (King of the Dark Elves)

Faction hit from killing orc runner
Your faction standing with The Dead got better.
Your faction standing with Queen Cristanos Thex got better.
Your faction standing with King Naythox Thex got worse.
Your faction standing with Keepers of the Art got worse.
Your faction standing with Eldritch Collective got worse.
Your faction standing with Primordial Malice got worse.

Queen Thex's faction (SK/Necro) is conflicting with the King because of their political rivalry, but the runner is still not kos to neither class.

Bixie
I'm thinking the Bixie might have been confusion resulting from the Kithicor Forest (another dark and evil forest related to halflings.).

I distinctly remember being attacked by a bixie in Kithicor on my dark elf shadowknight. I thought what race is this creature, will it give a bad faction hit?
Thus I encountered no bixies in Nektulos Forest.

Seems to be a mixed response between them being there and not being there. My guess is that the bixies are in Nek forest, but are not as common as we are seeing them now on the server.

I noticed that the Orc Runner wasn't listed.

I have played since release, Almost every character I play is Dark Elf. I dont recall ever seeing a Bixie in Nektulos untill P99. I remember being very confused about them being there.

It could be possible that it was listed in Illia's Bestiary on accident as both zones are " forrests". ( meaning they are supposed to be in kith, no question )

If they did spawn in Nektulos, it was in a limited area and extremly rare.

Sure enough it's recorded in the seq spawnlog, so it's not in error.

bixie, a Nektulos Forest 1 1 13 13 Bixie Ranger (-823,-147)

The bixie should be much rarer I believe, just based on personal experience (I was a dark elf SK on Live and spent an insane amount of time in nektulos, and I don't even remember there being a bixie), and also everlore archives from 1999. It seems right now that whenever I'm in nektulos I get the "a bixie's lifeless corpse falls to the ground" message (which is also a bug since it shouldn't be displaying across the zone).

Which expansion removed the bixies, orc runner, and the stone/iron guardians?

I started around Planes of Power, and I don't remember the Guardians there. I read somewhere that they were taken out, because of the newbie armor farming. If that's true, then it would have been around Ykesha. As far as the bixies and orc runner, I'm not sure on those.

Those iron guardians, etc do not exist on Al'kabor , which according to Hobart has late Shadow of Luclin code and a very early edition of those noobie armor quests (and not all of them, just some).

When I first saw those guard golems in red99 I took a double take and said "gee I remember those!" heh.
