Pet issues

Guards that i am not kos too are aggroing on my pet... is that really the way it was?
LVL 49 necro pet here seems to proc lifetap. that definitely wasn't in. it was a straight up warrior.

Later necro pets (I think 44 on, correct me if I'm wrong) proc a small lifetap.

Necro pets are lower level than you and will agro stuff that normally wouldn't agro you. I think the 49 pet you cast is actually around level 40.

However, I noticed my 49 pet agroed chanda miller in qeynos hills earlier, and she is a good 15 levels lower than the pet, so there might be a bit of an issue there.

what i meant with the pet is that i'm aggroing mobs i'm not kos to.
i think those life taps were added later for the pets as well, and werent there in classic, but i could be wrong.

Necromancer pets were given lifetaps proc on the level 39, 44, 49 pet. This came about 5-6 months after release of EQ. Their lifetap procs came at the same time that the magician pets got procs for their related elemental base.

Your pet drawing aggro i'm guessing is guard aggro Booglie? I'm guessing its b/c you were in lich form. FYI.
