Hello all,

I was just curious if there are any plans to add this zone under LoIO? I believe it was added between Velious and PoP. If so, it may be eligible for Project1999 consideration.

Any thoughts?

Currently, this server will only go to Velious.

am i missing something? if this is between velious and pop why would it be released in kunark

Well it was after Velious but before PoP iirc. If that is the case then it could be considered Velious content since they do not want to go to PoP. So maybe it could be part of going to Velious? I don't know maybe not, but I really liked that zone. It would be a nice addition.

Almost a year after PoP, inbetween Legacy of Ykesha and Lost Dungeons of Norrath.

Great zone though.

Bah... well I guess that answers that then. I really thought it was between Velious and Luclin... oh well. Still it was a cool zone. I enjoyed it.

Great zone though.

Veksar is how my toon in live finally made decent money. I had a circuit through the whole place where I could hit every spawn. Late at night on my server, nobody ever seemed to camp anything but the haste belt. I literally pulled a couple million out of that zone.

It became a paladin playground with the proper AAs.

I made a ton from it as a shaman too, not many could solo deeper in like chef, and Gomdurig was possibly the best droppable dagger at the time.

Ah memories. I was well into my 60s before I soloed the chef area. Maybe I could have done it sooner, but I taught myself the zone so some tricks maybe I missed that were possible earlier.

I totally loved this zone and wish it had came out sooner... if you look at the posts on allakhazam https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150324413457242 you can see people were posting about it as far back as Aug 22 and 23 of 2000. One person said it wasn't gonna happen and the other person saying it was gonna come with Velious... No more posts till 2001 and they were still saying "can't wait till this dungeon goes live" basically heh.. they must have waited a while :-P

Veksar may have been my favorite zone of all time. It is a pity that it will almost certainly never be a part of P99. Which illustrates a point worth making - there were a lot of good things put into the game after Velious in addition to the theme busting and player-splitting crap that was also introduced. Se la vi.

I agree about the zone being a money farm. I used to two box a cleric and a warrior duo. I had the haste belt camp down with that. All the power guilds on Ec'i at the time were more concerned with other uber zones.

Quicksar as I called it was a great leveling group on SZ and the underwater zone in made ganking people who zoned in easy.
