View Full Version : Quick question in regards to the DE mask.

So I have always thought the troll as a race was pretty damn OP with regen/high base hp/slam. My problem was that I had trouble looking like a deformed giant turd my entire EQ pvp career.

With the DE illusion mask that is going to drop a limited time. If I use this will it basically cancel out the hp regen and slam while I am in Dark Elf form?

it cancels slam, not sure on the regen.

I could live with no slam... but if it also cancels the regen then that mask is not nearly as cool as i was hoping it would be.

unless they've changed it recently, you do lose the regen. in fact i'll log in and find out.

Lookin at the regen for a shaman i was wanting to make. If i really needed the slam i could cancel the de illusion but always having the regen sounds great. Thanks for the info guys.

The DE mask is just for use in dungeons. I found it almost impossible to navigate dungeons as a troll/ogre.

This. Plus, it can help to mask what class you really are. But, I'm sure you all knew that already.

If you are going for troll shaman, you already have shrink to help in dungeons. Also what self respecting troll wants to look like a dark elf. lololololo /rp

I assume this works. But you can get the junk buff from it as a DE rite? Just making sure or DE sux!
