that link refers to a 3 year old rig. not sure why u want to waste 450 on it, but it sure isn't worth that much.
i don't know the notebook prices in the states, however in europe u get a new notebook that outperforms the linked one by lightyears for around 600 euros. don't think prices will differ that much transatlantic, although i rememmber computer stores were really trying to sell old shit, when i was in the states.

yeah that laptop in OPs original post isn't worth 450. I'd honestly try craigslist in your area. Probably end up getting something better for at least $100 cheaper

You should have no problem buying a similar or better system brand new for $450. I would not recommend buying that system.

The shop that I purchase my systems for, buy's old systems and sells refurbs, they would sell this system for around 250. No way in hell would I pay 450 for a 3 year old laptop.

Personally I would not go with a laptop, but if you have to I would look into a new PC, for $450 that has a better CPU. I do believe you could get yourself into a i5 processor laptop for about that price easy.
