All hackers caught on Red99 should be outed.
Blue is for pussies anyway.. you can continue to conceal their identities, but on Red, we want these people outed.

There is seriously no point to not outting these people. Make an example of the people caught and less people will even think of loading up MQ. It's very simple, I cant see/fathom any logic against this proposal.
We don't give a fuck about the shit-storm on Blue99. Start our server off right and make it as legit as possible.
None of us want to be here a year or two down the road dealing with a situation like the corrupt guilds on Blue99 ruining shit for rest of us.
Out the hackers, make a public list of their name and what the did. We all know they're going to switch their IP and come back anyway, at least let us be aware of these players.

the single most important thing to a pvp server is eliminating and discouraging hackers, making it known who is a hacker would go a long way toward that.
game companies dont reveal the names of hackers because there are to many, and their lawyers probably advised against it for fear of some kind of slander lawsuit, particularly in the case of a mistake.
however for an emulator and a small community i see no reason not to make the list public unless 126 hackers really means 26 hackers and a large number thrown out every few months is just a scare tactic/attempt to discourage.
in any case i doubt we will ever be informed on the matter, so heres to hoping they can keep the shitheads in check.

hacking was a big deal on zek , around the late omens early DON Era hacking was so bad even the reputable anti pk guilds were hacking , turned into a shitfest and like half the playerbase quit ( The half that refused to hack )

The point is they're gone and thankfully before live even started. If they had a huge impact on getting spawns or controlling zones in live, I'd be more for it. Let's stop the drama during the beta, maybe more people will test when its less of a put down contest :P.

This is a PVP server so we deal with individuals and their massive egos, there is no defense for hacking, no 'guilt by association' so to speak, they should be tarred and feathered and paraded in the streets to deter others from this shameful activity

Well Kringe has a point, with a community this small. I think the best way for problems to be handled is for the community to handle the miscreant players. If you want the playerbase to enforce things like LNS etc, let them handle their outcasts as well. This will make your jobs easier. If banning doesn't deter people, surely, if they are rediscovered they can be ousted/discouraged from playing in other ways.
I could see them not doing it if the poll was much closer.. but so far only 1 person (probably hacks and/or is faggot troll) disagrees.
This is what the community WANTS.

I would like to see hackers put on blast. I read somewhere that these issues are to be private between gm's/hackers themselves. How is the majority going to react to these decisions being made based on gm/player confidentiality? Put these fucks on blast and keep them out of the legitness.

Being professional should be listening to 99.99% of your population about something we thing should be done to protect the integrity of the server.
Like I said, if they vote was 80/20 or 40/60, I could understand the resistance, but this is something the whole population basically wants.
Hacking on PvP server in my book is much more devastating to the server/community than hacking on a Blue server.

1st, hacking is one of the major reasons all the other pvp emulated servers have failed.. so your basically screwing yourself over.

I do not myself play on the PvP server, however I think this poll should extend to the Blue server as well. I do not care who you are, what game you play, or what server for that matter, cheating should be banned and the offenders should be announced to everyone.
I do not understand for the life of me how anyone can enjoy cheating in any game, whatsoever, Does it not get boring eventually? Ya you get ahead, have an advantage against others, but eventually the game would in my opinion get real boring and repetitive.

If you're so scared that you need to make shit up to slander the guild you're worried about, you'll never be taken seriously anywhere. People are so inane.
