They're conning indifferent, and I'm not invisible to them. I remember these things being highly aggressive, even attacking high levels. They are undead after all.

They also used to never trigger the guards, which I haven't tested. They'd run around the newbie yard and you'd have to zone to remove their aggro, the guards wouldn't touch them.

Did you /con them while you were in the water with them? All underwater stuff should con indifferent untill you jump in with them.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't true in classic but I could be wrong.

I played a dark elf SK and the citizens hated me, but I remember them hating me on my less evil alts... I'm not 100% sure though. It did surprise me to not see them KOS however.

This confirms that the guards wouldn't kill them and that they were kos to many people although the people don't specify their class/race.

Fixed, pending update.

They are now kos faction. They also shouldn't spawn till Velious :P So, you won't see them for a while.
