This skill currently caps at I believe 160. I think that it should cap at 100 for bards. Here's what I've been able to find:

Edit: Also, using the EQ divas link(a couple of months after Velious):
Sense Traps should max at 75 (currently maxes at 120)

Using the castersrealm link(A month before Velious):
1hb/slash should max at 225(currently 250)
Piercing should max at 210 (currently 245)
Defense 215 (currently 230)
Dual weild 225(no idea but mine is already 226)
Parry 75 (mine is 147 atm)
Offense 215 (mine is 224)


I'm sure there is some more I'm not aware of.. I will try to find a secondary source for that list.

Also, unless it gets nerfed between now and Velious, I believe our level 15 spell Kelin's Lucid Lullaby mezzes up to 4 targets, not unlimited as it currently works. This can be verified by the Eqdivas link by browsing to songs, or browsing to songs on the castersrealm link and reading the final post on the first page where it is mentioned.

Isn't there some sort of client issue with skills displaying higher than they really are for some people? All my skills are capped at what you say are the proper values, except dual wield and lockpick. Lock pick is over 100, but in listed in red, and has been since 100 IIRC. Dual Wield is actually lower at 210.

As for Kelin's, there are a few comments in the Diva's link saying that they can mez more than 4 targets at once. The history of that song is very convoluted, though. I believe it was changed to have a second resist check for a period of time (end of beta? Or shortly after launch. Regardless, it's already happened in our timeline) because it was so over-powered early on - it didn't have it's target number decreased, though, IIRC. This change made it effectively useless, and I'd have little doubt people would mistake the insanely high resist rates for an actual hard target number cap. The check was later removed (not sure when, may or may not have happened in our timeline - could possibly coincide with the next change -> ), and then even later changed to single target (I KNOW this change is out of our timeline and we shouldn't see it here).

If it's a pbae it shouldn't have a limit to the number of targets it can hit I thought? Arrisard is right though, understanding the history of that song is almost a futile effort, it went through so many nerfs and changes and it's unclear when they happened.

Pick lock cap lowered to 100, skill not available until level 40, pending update.

castersrealm doesn't even have sense traps listed as a skill available in late 2000. Any idea if it should be available?

Combat skills caps are already being enforced in server checks, client displays uncapped values.
