I tried contacting Rogean in game and through PM but got no feedback. Just wanted to know how I get the issue of getting IP exempt before server launch...my brother and I live in the same house and we both would like to play for the launch...please let me know and thanks.

Do you have exemptions on p99? I remember seeing that these would be ported over to red99. If not, you might be screwed until server goes live.

Nope my brother and I have not played on P99. I saw the post of these being ported over from P99 and realized this might be a problem for the new players who need IP exemptions as well...

I'd recommend getting squared away on p99 first so when they do get ported over, you will be fine. It took roughly 10 days for my exemption to go through on p99.

I hope there is someway/person who will respond to reports about people who are boxing through a proxy on another computer or stealing some else's connection on another computer. I am sure some people will try this. Def people be tempted to box a druid/shaman/cleric/enchanter or bard.

He has said that there should be a system in place that will make the exemptions for both servers come from the same list. Can't find it though. Apply for one on the regular server now imo.

2 boxing is very rampant on p99 even with that threat. Go hop in unrest, mistmoore, sol b, etc and check out all of the druids, clerics, shamans, etc autofollowing monk twinks.

Should just do new requests for exemptions on release here.

yeah I agree , after reading that ridiculous thread about people having accounts for their 4 and 5 year old children to buff/teleport errrr..... I mean "play dress up" on..

Ugh it would suck to have to go through the IP exemption process again. When my husband and I started playing two years ago -ish, it only took a couple of days but doesn't it take several weeks to go through these days? I would be super unhappy to have the server launch and discover our accounts no longer have exemptions and we can't play together. :(

Boxing is not rampant there. I think I ran into it once, maybe twice. And those were not confirmed, just suspected.

Also, nothing wrong with PL'ing friends. I used to spend hours on an enchanter PL'ing my pals monk.

And having them carry over is obviously the way to go. Allows for people to just queue up through the normal method. And hopefully have it don't by release.

Either that or I hope you play a monk, box a druid, give all the money to the druid to hold, and always play somewhere near where I'm playing. :D
