hi there .
Tried the Harvester Quest in Temple of Solusek Ro 2 times now . Today and Yesterday. I wanted to turn-in the "Shadowed Scythe" to Vurgo for the Note so that i have something that is not temporary when i log out . Followed as instructed and tried to hand him the "Shadowed Scythe" . He just said "i dont need that" and rejected the item . Normally you will receive a Note Rolled up which is nodrop for the turn-in. My faction is indif with Temple . I also tried the Words of Darkness quest on him which works well as i got a Note for the Shadowed Book turn-in .

wow this was wrong.

went through the db, found the correct "notes" associated with the scythe and the words, added missing text, and he should work properly now.

Japanese page (http://www.tokyo2001.com/game/eq/quest/solusek/solusek28.html) has full quest. > Allakhazam's page (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=703) has almost nothing.

The way the script was set up, this will probably work. At least until next patch, when it will be fixed 100%.

Moving to resolved. Looks like Nil has this one covered.

Im having problems with this. i handed in all 4 items and got the note but now Vurgo says he does not need the note when i try to give it to him.

same thing just happened to me !

Handed all 4 items in... when tried to hand note back he just said "i do not need this" and I'd get the note back.

Also...

no combination of me saying "I want the harvester" etc furthered the quest dialogue along. I am not familiar with the quest and without the dialogue i did not know to hand in only the scythe first followed by the note and the three other items.

Tried almost every combination. Handed in scythe. No note, and ate the scythe. Tried handing in scythe, fungus eye, shadowed knife and fire opal, all items eaten.

Totally broken.
