I remember when I first started playing I started on Innoruk server or something because I didn't know RED even existed. Once you have a taste for pvp you never go back. How did you guys like it? :D

Was a ton of level 2 ganking, chaos, and the words faggot/******/jew every 3rd line of global /ooc. Hopefully things calm down some or the blues will stay blue.

btw, is global /ooc just for beta? hope so

it was pretty awesome, though mages are just as op as i remember them to be at the start. fucking blue con earth pet roots you for 18 seconds a cast? bullshit i say.

otoh try to root another blue con player and 5/6 of your roots will fail. don't give me shit about resists, we are all basically naked...

I had a great time. I leveled a HE enchanter to 4 outside felwithe without getting ganked.

I then killed Arkenius who was a former guildy of mine on Project99 and a blue con chanter called lilly-somthing. Honestly I just needed some cash or I wouldnt have killed em.

Worried seeing Cast here since I know he's a confirmed hacker, but other than that, I think a great time had by all!

I logged in as a troll SK, dinged 2 and HT'd the first undercon i saw.

Saw big Kunkkle went to say hi to him he and his red con palls killed me, SS'd it and posted on the forums.

I then saw some dude killing a rat so i decided i could not let that stand and started attacking him, the rat died we jousted for about 10 min then decided our troll regen was way to powerfull for noobie short swords, we decided to group with a 3rd and killed many a fungus man.

After a while we went to check out guk entrance for yellow cons and found big knukkle and 6 red con pals zoing out of lguk. they attacked, we zoned in. My wife called me a nerd so i pluged.

all in all a pretty cookie cutter red day, am i right?

Today i think i will reroll a new noobie zone

Because none of the racial slurs and profanity you listed occur anywhere on the blue servers, especially when mobs get stolen.

Qeynos was pretty calm honestly. Couple pk bards runnin around. Was fun, blast from the past. I even died a few times to mobs and players alike. EQ is tougher than I remember, being a lvl 5 melee with rusty longsword doesn't help. lol!

Were the other accounts related to their IP baned as well? I'm sure they really care that their level 5 characters on their beta account they made 30 mins ago got baned.

They were probly "testing" (betaing..) ways to make their hacks undectable for live.

Even without detecting the program, it should be obvious observing a player if they are using MQ or another 3rd party program.

10 times xp still seems slow as heck though. I am playing a hybrid so I guess thats making it seem longer. Non beta is gonna be a beast to level lol. I am looking forward to the slow leveling once server is live, but beta needs a bigger boost in xp imo. 2 hours to get to 8 is too long in beta

I started day 2 on beta a couple hours ago and played about a hour and a half or so to get level 5. Joined a crushbone group, we got wrecked by lvl 12s, couldn't get my body so I logged.

I think I will make a necro/chanter later on, sounds like a kewl combo instead of having to swarm on a bard

Crashing seems to be a common thing. A large percentage of people get it, some more often than others. I know on p99blue I crash often while zoning after a wiz/dru port. There is a stickied post in tech discussion about it.

It was fun. Made an ogre SK and found it pretty easy to solo up to level 6 and be fully noob equipped. Then couldn't find any healers to group with and got stuck. Got into a few sparring matches with another ogre around town.

Decided to try out a half-elf bard and found myself in Qeynos. That love poem quest gave some really good xp and I was level 3 before leaving town. But I had no money. Decided to try the sewers because the newbie area was overcamped. Looted 2 of those gator earrings and decided to try for the HP ring. Got ambushed by that high level skelie that you find down there at times. Couldn't retrieve corpse because of same skelie and a PKer. Decided to try something else.

Made a Barb Shaman. Found out the newbie area is pretty hard to start in. All the mobs were yellow con to me. Made a friend and we went about slaying the beasties. Made good progress after that. Friend got ganked by some mage while trying to sell.
Heard about some elves in the area of BB. Went to investigate and xp there but they were gone by time we arrived. Grouped up with guy who ganked my naked bard earlier. Had some fun in BB. Nother new guy in group pulled too many mobs and died while the rest of us ran for the zone. Group broke up.

Found a few mob pathing bugs. Found out there can be more than 1 soloist(wouldn't that make it a dualist or something?) stalking Halas. Lots of fun had. Looking forward to my next adventure.

I'd be suprised not to see it. I always hated being a ranger tracker and getting racked perfectly b every oher class. Kind of ruined the need for Ranger/Drood tracking in pvp.

I do hope stric fines for it or noone uses it because it ruins the element of suprise.
