A few months ago I tried some other pvp server, can't remember which and when I was feared all it did was have me stand there. I didn't go running off like a chicken w/o a head... kind of disappointing. You SHOULD be able to fear someone into a bunch of Goblins if it lands, no?

How about BLIND? Assuming this will work as it should, screen goes black right?

I don't think anyone will know the supreme answer to these questions until we get to log onto the beta, whenever that is. ( Soon)

99% chance that fear will be more like a stun...its just too op otherwise. And you wont.be able to charm pcs. Blind makes screen.black.

If it's like a stun, likely best to never even cast it since you can root for a longer period of time (potentially anyway)?

Unless we understood that Fear could have a lower resist rate assuming that's possible to implement.

If you allow fear to have people move, you might as well have training, because 99% of the time that person will die from being feared into mobs.

Do it.

99%? So many fights will be outdoors in the middle of nowhere. Especially for us clowns who level so slowly

Feared players could be hit by any level and then looted, at least on RZ it was. Then they took fear out of pvp.

Should have left in PC charms too. They were not nerfed until 2001. I remember drowning/burning many PC's in Lavastorm on my bard. Was gonna play a bard but I think I will roll other class for Red now.

YEA same goes for CHarm , its such an essential part of bard pvp and the people getting it nerfed are non bard players, but there classes can stay retarted OP with no words spoken.
DONT BREAK CLASSES in 2011! leave it classic dont take it to wal mart for an oil change.

If it is a stun it will be WAY better than any root type CC. Root you can pell and heal while rooted a "stun fear" will be stand there and hope it wears off before you die.

On a side note however fear should make you run around and if that means to mobs well so be it. Only balancing factor is it also has to be like live in the fact you resisted it 98% of he time once you had even basic resists.

Rystar got it. Then again it might just do nothing at all.

Sorath: bards rock anyways. Charm is insanely OP and bards first charm song would be ridiculous domination for its level range.

Its a guaranteed kill in most situations. Guard kill when near guards..mob kill when in a dungeon..can you think of a time where a charm doesn't allow caster to get a 100 percent guaranteed kill? Or at least to cause the charmed person to die even though it wont result in a lootable death? Shewt.
