Sky Textures and Loading Screen

Ever since the hotpatch, my sky textures have gone black, and the loading screen has been replaced by an all black screen as well. Any idea as to what caused this and/or how to fix it?

did you replace the entire (old) "resources" file, deleting everything inside?
