A couple of newbie questions.

Hi. :)

I started playing on Project1999 last night as an enchanter in Erudin. Am having a great time - but I've a couple of questions.

Where are the newbie armor quests? Are they not classic? I played EQ from Luclin to Gates, and they were always around so I assumed they were old quests? Or are the quests not the same on here as they were? I ran around Erudin Palace a while and couldn't find anyone to give me a newbie armor quest.

Also - what chat channels are available in game and how do I join them? I've forgotten how this works it was so long ago I played. :o (Then I can ask my dumb questions in game instead of here? :D)

Shout, ooc, auction etc only work in your current zone. Just do the stein quest a few times and sell em in EC and you can get some noob gear.

One of the best "newbie quests" you can complete. There's no full visible armor sets that you're thinking of, those were added several expansions after classic, and if they existed they would undermine the value of a huge percentage of classic items that are just not as powerful.

once your around 8-10 either those bandits near mistmoore ent since they drop bronze every kill and there around like lvl 7-9, also minos there axes sell 3-4 plat and they drop lots of gems ive gotta like 5 black pearls before and thats 18 plat per black pearl so nice money plus xp id head out to steamfont moutains for minos or lfay for those bandits prob hit those bandits around 7 or 8 then goto minos once your 10 time your 15 youll have good amount of cash for something
