re: probably-ensuing and unavoidable mass of unique snowflakes who claim that the beatles aren't good.

the beatles are objectively good.

it's not even a matter of taste or opinion. it's fact.

the beatles were objectively good, they advanced music and at their time were revolutionary... there is better music currently being made... thanks to them... i just don't get why people still sperg over them

Hard to choose....I have to go with 'day in the life' because its the song I always kicked off long road trips with in my early 20's.

All-time Favorite: Strawberry Fields Forever

Favorite John Song: Don't Let me Down

Favorite Paul Song: Long and Winding Road

And that's not including all the great live rockin' roll songs that they did in the early years.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is my favorite Beatles song, thanks to Eric Clapton.

There are a lot of really good (and really bad) Beatles songs; it's extremely difficult to pick. I could probably give you a better indication of the sort of Beatles fan I am by saying I like pretty much all of Sgt. Pepper's, Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour, and the first disc of the White Album in particular.

There's always (at least) one song on every Beatles album that I simply can't stand. For example on Sgt. Pepper's, I can't stand that Within You Without You song. Generally when you listen to an album enough times you sort of learn to accept and maybe even enjoy (to a small degree) that one song you initially didn't like (Fitter Happier). When I listen to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, I hate that fucking song more and more every time.
