Im hoping this server is for real and actually surfaces.

my idea.

Not really saying we have to be in character, or never join up with others
but,
Anyone want to start a guild based around an area or a race.
We could do dwarf's.
We could even do Qeynos area and have barbarians, erudite, and humans.
I plan on putting in some work, prolly tradeskilling too.
Reform the Black-burrow Bandits on Red99???
Defend Qeynos from outsiders?
Lets plan ahead of time so we are ready for the big day!

i was looking into the lore a bit.

Dwarfs really only consider the barbarians to be their allies.
Gnomes and Haflings are tolerated if they know their place.
A skeptical kind of distrust for all elves, erudites, humans.
Not fond at all of trolls or dark elves,
And an urge to rid all norrath of ogre and ogre friends!

(its possible i might let 1-2 humans/barbs in for the necro/shaman/monk, most likely alts for raid purposes. but undecided)

and i havent ruled out shortie, cuz i usually dont play em (hate big steps!)
but they seem like they'd be fun

was waiting for an official date or beta to hit before i actually decided (beta SS is good enough imo)
so yeah, i will prolly make a decision tonight and put it in motion soon

I'd prefer an anti PK roleplay(ish) type guild. I'd suggest to not put too many crazy restrictions though, as with the super slow xp people are gonna want to pick their main without being boxed into just a dwarf or whatever. At the most i'd go with a dark or light theme.

Light: no trolls/ogres/darkelves/SK's/Necros.

Dark: no high elves/wood elves, or Paladins.

Maybe restrict diety choice too. Disallow the overtly evil gods from light guild, and vice versa.

My rogue was in an all rogue guild (Order of the Black Rose if anyone remembers) on the early days of RZ before FoH.

It ruled. We'd always recruit a cleric, druid or two to come along with us for exp/pvp. Ping Ponging backstabs will drop stuff pretty fast.

Barbarians are the only ally of the gnome.
Haflings and Gnomes are welcomed if they know their place. (dwarves are brell's chosen")
Humans, erudites, and all elves are viewed aren't trusted but alliances are forged when either side is threatened by the evil races.
Trolls and Dark elves are hated.
Ogres and anyone who helps them are viewed as as the greatest evil.

i do think we would be limited a little by the rouge/war/pally/cleric only side of things.
if we allowed gnomes we could have the intelligent caster side. we could be a Brell Serillis oriented guild. Halfings would allow for the druid class as well. Im down for organizing and "starting" the guild after a little time in game we could vote on a general.

This guild idea reminds me of the guild "Femme Fatale" on Rallos Zek that was a "female only" guild.

Really though, it was 95% full of dudes that were pretending to be girls and hiding the fact that they were dudes from each other (at least all the people I knew in that guild were dudes). It was hilarious.

wasnt any afaik

only Elven Royal Guard (Anti-PK guild and EAG:elven apprentice guard/feeder guild)
and Illuvitae (elven PK guild)

both started to die around luclin/pop.. ERG merged or got absorbed into silver sun (EAG disbanded) and illuvitae just died..leader quit / new leader tried to keep it alive solo for another few expansions lol
