Just a couple questions about red99 exemptions:

* will IP exemptions work the same as P99?
* will the expemptions from P99 transfer to R99?
(being sister server)

Id rather not see exemptions transfered to red99 just incase SOandSO's supposed girlfriend/wife/ect who needed an exemption just happens to not be playing anymore. Make people reapply for exemptions imo

I know for them, it would be a pita to go thru duplicate petitions/posts when they have the exemption list right there but....

Im not trying to get an advantage, i get that it will prolly be the same since its from the same developers but,
Id just like to know...

* are people going to transfer over?
prolly one of the easiest choices since they have an exemption list
but you can expect alot of players with the ability since they have "old" exemptions from past friends/family that never got hooked on P99 (therefore, have an open door if they decide to use it)
* do people need to reapply?
This could bring alot of extra work to the dev team
there are a TON of exemptions that would need to be "OKd" before actual duo's and couples get to actually play together from server launch
* no exemptions whatsoever?
This would be new, but thats why the question is being asked.. if this were in nobody could box!
it would be easier to spot boxers, but alot of players wouldnt play w/o others.

What if they opened it to 2 box only? and give ALL IPs an exemption?

P99 rules for single box PVP is awesome imo, should make for a good time!

but what would the exemptions be to the single box rule set on the server at launch?

I don't know how I feel about this. Boxing on red99 is gonna be a huge advantage because you can just go to some obscure place nobody thinks of looking at and level up in peace which you can't really do with any solo class. You'd have such an easy time leveling a rogue or warrior up with a healer box while others would have a horrible time doing it the legit way. We all know half of these "wives" are just people who know how to 2-box without it being noticeable, and the other half are legit girlfriends who know fuck-all about the game and just hit the heal hotkey when the man says so because she's happy just being allowed to sit nearby while he's gaming.

At the very least, require new applications for IP exemption. I reckon most people who tried to get their wife to play EQ a year ago are now divorced and still use that second box because they can. At least the first couple of weeks will be legit then, since getting an IP petition reviewed takes forever.

i think having a 2 box limit would be fine, be it your gf(ie: left hand), or in my case my 4 foot cock who plays the computer next to me.

98.75% of people who 2box in pvp are bad anyways, so more frags/loot/skullfucking for me.
