Default Human Agnostic to Dark Elf faction incorrect

As an agnostic human, Dark Elves should be dubious, with 1 kill to threatening. I played a human magician on EQ Live from 1999 to 2002, I used to be able to go to Neriak and buy things such as the summoning spells in the library in 3rd gate. One day, I was in a group when someone killed a guard, the next con I did on a DE, I was KOS.

Today I ran into nektulos on my way to lavastorm and got killed by the guards which I found surprising. I'm a new character with no faction hits yet.

Ok first of all, there is no faction called Dark Elves. Certain Dark Elf groups hate lighties more than others. Secondly, one does not simply walk into Neriak. It is a city of hatred and the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.
