Problem getting past server select.

Just downloaded steam version of UF download. Did all the changes said in getting started guide. I get to server select and choose project 1999 and hit play then eq goes into windowed mode and screen just stays black. have to go into task manager to kill it as nothing else i do will close it. Anyone else have this happen?

i decided to just get a copy of titanium and use the all in one installer and got it working now.
