Latest Spell file - Avast Trojan Alert

No problem logging into the server 24 hours ago, but now tonight i get a message that states the latest spell file is infected by a "trojan" I re-downloaded the lastest spell file again but getting the same message..

Anyne had this problem?

This has been posted about literally a hundred times in this section already. These files are used to detect EverQuest hack programs. Since being implemented, they have done their job effectively and certain people have been banned from the game because of cheating.

Those people decided to report the files as being a trojan in an attempt to undermine the nice folks here at Project 1999.

Mark the files as a false positive and add the .dll's and potentially eqgame.exe as an exclusion in your antivirus program and continue on in peace. This is not a Trojan. I can't stress enough how ridiculous it would be for Rogean and Co. to host a Trojan on their own website to download. You have nothing to worry about I assure you.
