You guys got room for a youngin? Just got done my 12 year run on brell/CT and finally fed up with route EQ going so came over here. I'll be leveling up over next few weeks but should take to long. Will be playing ranger most likely and i saw a watchers tag the other week but other then that havent seen many around over the last few years and yes SR still raids and is one of the top guilds on server still.

Skyre Draneth definitely wasn't #2. It's hard to say what the top guild order was on Brell because the high end guilds worked together so often (Silent Redemption/Watchers alliance, LoH/Enshadowed, etc), but SR and LoH were definitely at the top for a long, long time.

Skyre Draneth had a fleeting taste of being a top guild. LoH, SR, Watchers, were around a lot longer, and accomplished much more. Skyre had the first VS kill on Brell(no easy task at the time), but soon after had a mass exodus and never recovered. The downfall began after shiki( a very good leader IMO) booted a number of people which sparked a split in the guild.

I don't remember a lot of Ogres from Brell at all except for like Exuo because he KS'd Stormfeather from my friend after we spent 2 months camping it...and Otag (but I kinda cheated on that one...I couldn't remember any Ogres and it was pissing me off so I went through EQPlayers until I recognized a name!).

SR is on EQ2 on Permafrost, however many of the original players and EQ2 founders are long since gone

I recall SR losing a ton of members on EQ all at once. I followed them on their website for a few years after I quit during PoP. The website said they lost over half their raiding force. It seemed like they had just burned out a few years after I quit.

They are alive and kicking. Vwar passing away was a huge hit to them, in regards to both talent and morale (best damn tank I've ever had the privilege of playing with), but they bounced back. I know a lot of people have come and gone, but there's still a LOT of the old school players around.
