So since I got a new superawesome phone recently... What apps do you use on your droid? FINALLY have a droid that takes screenshots without the use of some outside application. What kind of phone doesn't come with this ability?!
Games, utility, entertainment whatever the genre, interested in hearing what's good.
I like dumb little word games. I downloaded "7 Words" which is kind of fun.
Don't list Angry Birds.

Easy ones are:
Pandora
Rage Reader
*random free music app that gets banned in a few weeks after you d/l 2000 songs*
Tango (for cyber video chats over phone)
????
Most apps are bullshit, I recently tried a free RPG called Inotia that's kind of fun if you are completely bored.
I'd be interested to hear of some good online rpgs for android.

I'd use Pandora if I had like, a car or something to plug my phone into. If I'm using Pandora it's at home through my iPod dock. Pandora pretty much rulez though.

android (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_%28operating_system%29)is google's mobile/tablet OS, directly competing with apple and microsoft.
it's geek friendly, compared to the hand holding of the iphone OS (sowwy, that file is too big to download! you have to wait til you get to a wifi network :()

The only thing the android has over the iphone is the ease to put pirated stuff on your phone (songs, movies etc.).
The iphone is more user friendly.

user friendly, sure.
but i personally didn't like the limits on my device. if i own it, i want control of it.

I c.
Sounds impressive but i think i like to have the minimalistic style! I barely use half of the iphone functions as it is

you can strip the android os down further than you can the iphone os.
it's not about minimalist vs a bunch of stuff, it's more like... do you want a phone you can tinker with? or a phone that just works out of the box and software is released for and you don't have to worry about it.
not saying software isn't released for android. meh. how about personal preference? :) i hate apple

Well you see i've never had anything Apple until recently when i got this phone - i barely even used anything Apple made before - so to me this phone is kind of cool n way advanced to the phones ive had previous! So if apple is a bit douchey then i wouldnt really know.
Saying that...i just love it! But ive seen android mentioned before on facebook and stuff like that seems a lot of people use it

I tell a lie! I had an apple mini ipod thing in green colour a while back! It broke way easy n video never worked. Why do you dislike Apple then?

i don't like their business model. i had a 1st gen iphone which got slower and slower as each software update was pushed on me, forcing me to consider the newer faster iphone coming out soon! coincidence? i also remember this kind of bullshit from back in the macintosh days.
they offer limited gaming support, although this has more to do with developers drinking the directx koolaid. push opengl more imo apple.
also because steve jobs is a giant douche?

You have a point there. This phone needed an upgrade - it was super slick before but now some apps are sluggish more often than not

i mean it's no different than pc's really. new software, need bigger hardware to handle it, but it's silly... certain devices should get frozen to a certain update, but they aren't. so that leads me to believe that it's by design and only to make money on hardware since they're not charging for updates like they do for macOS

theres an app that basically can turn an android phone into an iphone. oh and this just in, the iphone 5 is basically trying to copy android features that have been out for years, and they've been trying to sue to take my baby(samsung infuse) off the shelf for being too 'similar' to their iphone 5 that isnt even out.

i think i read about that.
a patent infringement because of their way of storing photos and corresponding the files to small thumbnails on a gui, and navagatable with horizontal swiping motion.

Apple starts losing smartphone market.
Android and manufacturers supporting it continue to make superior products.
Instead of competing, they sue via shady business dealings and copyright infringement bullshit.
Fuck Apple.
