Two-handed weapons

I've read a few complaints by P99 players claiming that two-handed weapon damage is generally inferior to the damage output of wielding two weapons at once. Apparently there was a thread containing evidence which corroborated this notion however I've been thus far unable to find it. I suppose I was curious to see how players felt about this, specifically, how 2H compares to DW, if it's noticeably different here than it was on live EQ, and whether or not there's any real reason for a character who can dual-wield to use a two-handed weapon. Forgive my ignorance here, my knowledge of this game is limited.

Quite simply, in Kunark great 1 handers are in abundance over 2 handers. Sure there are some exceptions like tstaff. But if you're a dual-wield capable class with x amount of platinum, you'll mostly get the best bang for your buck with 1 handers.

Velious rebalances 2 hander availability if not sliding to its favor.
