I went with a human monk. I play a magician on live and wanted to experience a total change from casting. Punching and kicking is very satisfying. :p

Hello! I'm also new to everquest, have never played before. I spent 3 hours absolutely clueless and now all I know is how to say hello and use spells properly lol. I've always found old mmos fascinating but didnt try everquest till now, I hope you have fun!

I did the same thing! Settled in on some classes I never really got to play on live (rogue, necro, SK)... beyond not having played for ages it felt good learning new things. Granted there isn't much to a rogue :D
