So how can it be that the Erudites get the best looks and cities? I know y'all never spoke about this but let's be honest. Apart from the fact that Erudites are black and most players are white, that means that most players will avoid playing Erudites and choose Humans or High Elfs instead. But you know what I noticed? The High Elfs are kinda ugly in this game their characters are pale and the clothes look generic.

And even their only city Felwithe falls short and looks a bit boring compared to Erudin and Paineel. Like you know I think Erudites have better looking clothes and character models and they have a cool city based around magic and books. They are better casters than the High Elfs. If there were white Erudites or no Iksar I would play them. But because I'm not black it feels a little wrong to play them. But honestly Erudin and Paineel just look and appear so much smoother than Felwithe.

I mean Felwithe is so light and bright and kinda boring, the Dark Elves' Neriak is very dark with those neon lights (I don't like neon lights and bats) and that brings me to the point that I just realized that Erudin and Paineel are the best looking and feeling cities in this game. But I'll still be loyal to the lizard peepul. If Erudites were WHITE players would play that race more than even High Elfs in my opinion.

Erudin and Paineel are genuinely smooth, dark and cozy looking cities and they have the best library. That to me just feels more nostalgic. Erudin also looks great at night with the lights in the city making it look very cozy. If you're black you're almost forced to play Erudites. I don't see why not.

I kinda wish the Dark Elves were black instead and the High Elfs were white (they are) and the Erudites would be like another human race with other distinct features. I just don't wanna play a black guy when I'm white but I'm honest Erudin and Paineel and the Erudites character models look the best in this game.

Everquest racism on the racism spectrum isn't that bad. The only glaring issues, no Iksar rangers of Prexus, or Karana.

No dark elf paladins of zek or sol ro. Remember Solusek Ro burnt the ancient Tunaruain homeland into a desert +mountains. Maybe dark elf druids of karana and ro, wrath matches with hate, rathe, and DE druids would seek power over or the power of nature, ro, they could serve hatefullly under the clerics of innoruuk. Remember they despise their defiler god. They only serve him begrudgingly because they hate everyone else more

Does it feel great for you investing thousands of hours into this one game, knowing if you typed one bad word in guild chat, they would perma ban you? It doesn't feel safe or rewarding to play such a game. You can lose everything by just typing a word in chat.

But I don't feel weird playing a race that doesn't look like me. In fact...isn't that kinda the point of role-playing games? To immerse yourself in a world that ISNT like our own?

P.s. Erudin and Paineel are top tier cities for sure. They lack for newb zones, at least until Warren's came out. They also are near one of the most underrated zones in the entire game...that zone being Stonebrunt Mountains. The vibes in this area are incredible! Especially when you're chilling at that random Kerra town when it's snowing and the winds blowing.
