View Full Version : Owl inspectors (legal advicce)

Hi, I have a kind of technical legal question I'd some help with.

Every night around 3 AM about 500 people knock on my door and demand to come inside and look around. I didn't invite them and have not been given any notice of their visit, I really have no idea who they are.

They say they're owl inspectors and it's their right to come in and check things out. I have no means of verifying this or their identities and I suspect perhaps a half dozen might be owl inspector-assistants and not real owl inspectors at all.

Please help I'm getting very concerned for the safety of my owls.

They gave me a paper one time with "owl oversight" scribbled on it but I don't know what that is supposed to mean.

Unfortunately no, I'd have been much more amicable if they did. Awooga.

I did talk to one lawyer and he said I had to let 500 people barge into my house at any hour of the day, including but not limited to 3 AM.

But I don't think he was a very good lawyer.

500 people is a lot of people. Start an Owl-themed company and use them as free labor. They have the time to show up at 3am every day. That's good work ethic.

See, but that's the thing. 500 people won't fit in my house, even nut to butt.

I really can't accommodate that number of guests, even if I recognize their right to look at my owls. I only have 3 footmen and a valet.

Plus it's filthy in here. I have a lot of owls.
