Which race & starting city to pick if I like dry places and deserts?

Is it really Freeport or Oggok because they're close to that desert? The only desert in the game? Or are there other dry places like a desert? Isn't Field of Bone a desert too? What are the driest places in this game with almost no rainfall?

Im gonna say osasis is the hotest, as there is green in both no and so ro's

There are so many giant trees I imagine its pretty humid in kunark deserts.

I get rashes when I go into velious, there's snow everywhere, but its all frozen and so the air is way dryer out there :o

It's strange how Field of Bone, Swamp of No Hope and Lake of Ill Omen are 3 very different looking/feeling climates yet they're all around the same city.
