As a schizophrenic I take my antipsychotic pills and I think they make me slow, tired and passive. But after 12 years of taking them pills I'm addicted and I need those pills now or I will die from insomnia and the other withdrawal stuff.

But what torture is it to THINK all the time? Do you know it? Do you have ADD? Or do you not think? Gary Smith from Bully has ADD and is a sociopath according to the game.

It's not too bad if you are full hp/mana but sometimes its a death sentence.

ADD is the thing that both helps keep me locked in to an interesting camp that requires my focused attention,
and also the thing that makes me lose interest in a camp that is too boring or slow

You didn't hear kids in the industrial revolution say they couldn't focus.

You had healthier food back then and just water and alcohol. Now there's all sorts of unhealthy stuff messing with your brain.

Ive Had ADD all my life and im 30 now the best way to describe it is the single most powerful motivator and driving force but one that is just as fragile and fickle as mother nature if you lose interest then you lose all drive and motivation however if you follow the path of your brains latest interest you are unstoppable. the other notable down side is that in normal circumstances a trick to get myself to do anything without any sort of driving force is to keep it busy with something else while i do the task at hand for instance keeping on a youtube video while i game even if its a sweaty tryhard game that requires intense focus in order to perform well ill still have either music or some youtube video that falls into my interests in the background that's just enough to help shape the direction of my focus. Keeping coherent thoughts for more than a minute is a chore sometimes since it feels like my brain is in a constant state of Tangents as it tries desperately to keep finding some thread of dopamine to follow i tend to keep a hand full of hobbies at a time since its better to pivot between several and get at least some level of progress in those in the long term rather then constantly trying to find a new hyper focus or dopamine hit to pursue like a blood hound.

It feels like multi-boxing but inside of one mind. So a lot like EQ, where one mind controls 3 characters. For further reference go to Kael on any given day to watch that phenomenon occur.

Do Project 1999 and EverQuest on Steam even get new players? I mean I was a new player got Barb Shaman to level 8 deleted it, and got an Iksar Necromancer to level 4 and kept it. I gave up tho cause I realized it's a knowledge based game that requires 1000 hours to have fun in it.
How am I gonna get to level 30 as an Iksar without having to read guides wall of text? Noone really makes YouTube guides for races / classes for this decade old game and if so it's only for level +50. I don't want to spend 1000 hours on a game before having fun or maybe I'm exagerating maybe it's just 500 hours but still...
I'd rather play the braindead Battlefield 6 or Fall Guys with a lizard costume. I'm asking cause won't EverQuest 1+2 and Project 1999 eventually die out soon? I know the players are in the 40s age bracket so there's still time but no new players will be a dead game.
