At what expansion did UI get changable

When did UIs like the one below become live on EQ, what expansion allowed that?
I'd love to have this one back, but alas not possible.

if you can find the original ui files its possible with edits for it to be usable on p99.

This one is available on eqinterface, I'll have to look into the possibility of modifications.
Anyone know what are the differences in p99 that makes the original unusable?

Have you checked out all the UIs designed for p99/titanium?

I don't know what makes a UI incompatible, but I believe the more 'recent' the UI compared with the p99 timeline the more difficult it will be because of all the additions to the game.

I have, they're all just variations of the same, the only thing that changes is shape, orientations or color. Basically boring. I was hoping someone knew which elements aren't supported. I'll keep digging.

Have you tried just putting the UI in the /uifiles folder and loading it? It might just work.

Can you share a link to the UI you are talking about? I'll download and see what things won't work. I'm a nerd with some free time :)
