On P99 in East Karana, "a rogue lion" just paths endlessly from the front to the back of the canyon (to HH). This didn't seem correct to me (I don't remember one unique animal guarding the canyon on live), so I tried to find some evidence he should be elsewhere.

It looks like he's almost in the right area, but really should be pathing through the nearby mountains, AKA "Crag Hill".

(SIDE NOTE: It seems most live folk believed "a rogue lion" was a PH for Tarbul; that doesn't seem to be the case here. I saw a decent number of reports suggesting killing the lion helped ... but live people believed a lot of stupid stuff about PHs, so I'm guessing our Tarbul deliberately isn't lion-based, and is "working as intended"?)

I went to EK to recce Crag Hill intending to come back another time to get Tarbul. With pet-zoning now in, I already had a fully equipped pet in tow. I also had a HoV and KEI up.

As soon as I got to Crag Hill I saw the rogue lion, so killed it. I started farming silks and pelts from the spiders and lions, and killed the rogue lion twice more within about half an hour. Shortly after that Tarbul showed up, conning DB. Since I intended to come back, I initially just followed him around on Crag Hill for a while, carefully staying out of aggro range.]

The rogue lion is a place-holder for Tarbul Earthstrider. If you can't find Tarbul, try finding this lion and kill it. They both roam on the large mountain in the middle of the zone.

The rogue lion is absolutely a ph for Tarbul. There are / were multiple instances of the rogue lion, both by crags and middle of the zone. I've popped Tarbuls in both locations multiple times by only killing rogue lions.

Also, one of them might path the canyon, but again, there are often multiple rogue lions pathing.

I just checked EK and couldn't find any by crags (albeit with limited track) but there were 3 on the middle hill and 1 in the canyon.
