I'm from Australia and I'd like to know if there are any guilds based in Aus / Asia-Pacific region.

As many of you would know. our timezone here is almost in reverse compared to the US. Just like to look out for guilds that are active during my play time (night time) as it gets really quiet during night time in Aus (probably 3-6am in US). I'm just a casual player but keen on meeting new friends and to raid in the future.

Thanks!

I know several guilds have that time zone players, TR has a giid number of euro time players I think from Darkwind. Vesica Dei has a good mix, and I know my guild Taken has an aussie contigent with some euro time zoners also. We have some great Aussies who play together regular pretty regularly. TR is more a raid guild primarily, and Vesica Dei and Taken both are casual players who can raid type of guilds. You can find the guilds links all through this sub-forum and in the sticky at the top here http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7202, my guilds' link is here...That's what she said (http://tgaming.org)

<Yacht Club> is project 1999's one (and only) Aussie / Oceanic guild... we are pretty small but gives you some people to chat to during Aussie peak.

TR has two aussies, myself included. Raid times go from 00:00 to 00:00 on an on call basis and US time for anything pre arranged. I'm ex Southern Armada, & Cold Fury myself in older EQ days, not sure about the other.

Yacht Club has a few and theyre cool dudes, although small and only good to dicuss Kangaroo meat cooking styles, not raiding. But they group often in the 50+ scene.

Taken has about 4 aussies from memory, a few ex pat Cold Fury and Aurora Noctum dudes from memory.

TMO have people on all hours of day as well, dont know about aussie numbers but theres a fair few euro/french etc.

There are a few Aussies out that I know of, the big problem that we have is that because it is so quiet during our peak most people don't make it past the 30's (like my first char).

It does pick up once you get a bit higher as there are always groups around however it is just making it to that point.

Yacht Club is just a place to hang out and have some company during those long lonely nights!
