So basically theres a few diff type of Lioness that can trigger quil, different calfs, they roam all over the world have huge spawngroups with non trigger mobs.

The way it works on P99 is shit, the zone is like 7 mins and the quil trigger is 1 min so you have to round up the zone and use static mobs etc to time it.

So instead of editing the shit they already have changing those spawn groups I just left all those triggers in around the map, and added a new "Golden Calf" which I'll make sure the spawn time is like 60 seconds or whatever it was. I'll eventually do my own little pathing grid, I'll have the Lioness same thing spawn south of Aviak and roam up the ramp etc. The calf will do like a small circle random movements around that distinct spot.

Went through against my own opinion and made all of Seb 27 mins. The Juggs are actually 60 mins.

At this point if I do all the testing I can just fix everything, set an official release and wipe it one more time so anything farmed right now is no biggy, then just let it rot.

Couple of balancing fixes.

- Ringed Mace of Ykesha is reduced to 1% from 3% drop on Drolvarg_sentries, about 20 of them so same chance as Tstaff, but common mob.

- Kunark Spells both 51-58 and 58-60 are reduced to 1% per spell to drop on each of those mobs, the TAKP value was .136 I think? I had it at 5 for the 58-60 was too common every golem 2 spells, every goo 2 spells. Just felt junky, I'll try 1% and see if that feels ok, I'd like a spell every 3-5 mobs or something maybe.

- Changed KC to 27 min spawns.

Was thinking I'll adjust Tstaff/Windy to be like Dota type stuns, 2 second procs? They won't be full 18 second like Red99 was lol. Maybe 3, a static duration stun proc though fuck RNG.

Chardok looks 100%, the loot/stats line up with P99 POST revamp Chardok... which is Velious.

So to counter this I am keeping it post re-vamp and everything as is, except I switched Argent Protectors to Argent Defenders, and removed the 40/40 Herbalist Spade.

The hammered hoop is in, the other shit is in but the real OP weapons I took out, I think it'll work better than rebuilding it all, to basically look like how it does now.

I'm going to try to do some fixed Reavers tonight. I just read the THJ (The Heroes Journey) server description... 2500 people. The big shtick? You can SEAMLESSLY run 3 classes, using their SPELLS/ITEMS/AA's. WOW. So basically they are 3 boxing, this is revolutionary. I cannot believe it.

OK I replicated the error and crash I was getting, it might not be DDOSing. If someone is zoning, or logging in, and someone else /who alls, it somehow gets an error access violation. I thought someone was mass /whoing or something DDOS style but might be on my end.

Admitting defeat... for now. Cannot figure out anyway in the DB to disable /who all, or prevent my DB from auto patching that stuff back to the PEQ defaults. I was deep in window processes and task schedulers trying to find how the Akka server defaults back to PEQ defaults.

I have done none of my coding it's all been done by the superior Bamzal. Which involved fixing source code, which I've seen it's reasonable to read, but then recompile and stuff, he does a lot of technical stuff I can't. Leaderboard, custom spell animations, custom spell icons.

I have done most of the Database work, which includes a shit ton of stuff, zonelines, npcs, spawn points, path grids, stats, loot tables, all of the like meat and potatoes shit, removing out of era, adding path grids, finding weird shit or out of era, or stuff that's just broken. That's me, all the wayfarer tents and shit out of era objects, rebuilding REVAMPED zones which is really the biggest job because you have to do SpawnIDS, NPCS, Spawngroups, Loot tables, I mean it's a real fucking bitch.

But honestly I just play my box and fix shit it's like my warhammer hobby or some shit I don't fucking know. It's got the best current PVP viability rating, IMO. Kunark Expansion, Variance, pretty fucking good PVE, boxing, this son of a bitch is a masterpiece. Superior to the VZTZs by a shit ton, superior to the guildwars2 boxes. Only because of PEQ/TAKP/Bamzal, and my unyielding desire.

Some of it's easy. You can find where the NPCS are in the NPC table and just select the whole blob, make sure you delete the ones in their path or make sure they're irrelevant new age shit.

You can copy all the spawn2's over and delete all your spawn2 table. But you have to copy over the spawn entrys group by group, and then the loot tables, there's actually 4 different tables you need Loodrops IDS, Lootdrop entries, Loot table IDs, loot tables entries. Then you need to copy the path grids over, and then go over all of the info you have and ensure it's proper. With little sneaky shit thrown in by Secrets, I guess. DTing mobs etc.

No one is going to do this but a crazy person just accept that I am a little crazy, that is what it takes.

Looking back it's funny. I had Droga version 2.0 all 65 mobs, CT version 3, no Lavastorm mobs in the DB, no YT, No leaderboard, new age Skeletons and wolves. Seemed hopeless then.

How far we've come to be a dang near replica of Red99, with a functioning Leaderboard.

Hate still needs work lol. I noticed the Coercior or however you spell it was up in the same house, same with the avatar and cleric mini. I looked at the wiki, they appear to be in the right potential spots just without the randomness.

Also I noticed an Earth Staff on a random Revenant lol and the Grandmaster isn't spawning so. I'll have to work on it some more. I'll probably put the Minis to the Red99 timers 3 days, with the random chance to spawn at their proper locations...

Or I could put them static in places.

Died in Neriak gave up on that.

Decided to work on BW a bit. Found the Neze/Phez whatever spawn, had a bunch of non wurms in the Spawngroup, just made it Phez/Nez 15% each, 70% chance Dark Blue to 60 (lvl 47) wurm.

Checked the Entalon/Gylton spawn that was fucked did the same thing but made them 50/50. Also there was no Azdalin/Gullerback spawn either, so I made that one it's currently static no path grid 50/50. Maybe they should be slightly more rare? Least it all works kind of now. All at the verified P99 spawn locations at least now, the Wurm for Phez/Nez acts normal goes down the hill etc.

No I didn't farm any when it was 60 seconds btw. Deleted a bunch of out of era shit, tried to add spells/gem encrusted ring to giants but it didn't really work out there's a ton of different loot tables and shit not sure why I didnt hit the right one, they might be using those magelo loot id's.

Also I don't really like how Wiz mobs are functioning, and I noticed it with Arch Magi too in Guk, they spam their Magic nukes that get resisted, or low dmg, they don't hit you with Ice Comets, I'm going to dig into that a bit today, priority spells, or just remove those spells from the wiz npc spell list and have them just nuke.

1.0 VP is done, lol. I started getting to it doing my thang, then I noticed damn I already have this shit. When Bamzal updated us to the current PEQ version (yes he can do that) PEQ imported all the TAKP loot tables, and NPCS I believe, it's not that easy to patch in zones you have to do it manually, they didnt import all the individual spawn groups and entries and all that.

BUT for VP they have the NPCS with the updated loot tables lul, so it took me about 10 mins to fix VP after I dreaded it for a month.

There's still new age mobs and mini boss type loot? or like rare trash drops, I'll go through that next.

My contents so good I'd do like a legit drop in a few months but I haven't tested like network/PC capabilities. Anyone who says Data center and shit is all that, I tried one I forget what it's called but it was laggy and dog shit, I think one super immersed nerd with a dedicated ethernet/pc dedicated to one box might be just as good. Rogean of course probably has something impressive but I wonder what he pays or what connections he has.

It's next to impossible to train in VP me and Lite did res box training before against Nihi because VP had no PNP, the agro range is so small Bards are cruising around, I wonder if I could reduce the agro range on Juggs, and maybe Reets, so that they are kind of untrainable.

Also wtf Druushk 150k hp I'll go through it, think that was the only one fucked up so far. Might be how TAKP had him.

And the really crushing part, I don't do it on my box. But I did it on Live, I could automate most of you to run more efficiently, without mistakes, with basic text commands lul.

The only remotely tricky part is pulling, getting AI to pull(you need MQ2, maps etc, and it will fuck up can't figure it all out but I bet you could get advanced pulling shit. The rest is like, so easy.

Kind of almost done and good? I kinda screwed up, gotta stay humble or you stumble. I was npcspawn removing the named trash mobs and then it dawned on me they are repopping and randoms in all the spawngroups, so I deleted those NPCS instead, reverted all the old spawns and redid it.

Now I have another issue where there's out of era trash mobs, but if I delete the NPCS they don't respawn no other mobs in their group, so what I might do is replace them for wurms and such in era, they might otherwise function fine, and then stats/check out pathers. The spawns are good just switch NPCIDS.

My silverwing does not path I can make that one, and maybe leave Hosh in his room or something. Or make them both path like Red99 we'll see. Getting it exactly right the pauses and such would be difficult, but having Silverwing roaming so you can move around the pillow room is essential.

I see some out of era effects too.

Swapped all the A_Frenzied_RacnOrs for a_racnar's(lvl 60 19khp), and all the various wurms with the proper guardian_wurm(L 60/61 28k hp), they all have spells already itemized on them but no one does the wurms for spells.

Only shit left is the drakes have weird names, sky kings, and the wyverns have odd names too. Well they are just the wrong mobs in general lvl 69 and shit too so finding the right replacements.

All the mobs look correct and the zone looks right but the room before PD is empty I might have to rebuild that myself and just fix the drakes/wyverns and I think it's 100%, Silverwing pathgrid and done.

Watched the video fixed all the spawn locations. Quite a bit was off actually, and the wyverns just didn't exist so that was easy.

I just need to re transfer the new Druushk stats, and then make a spawngroup with the 3 type of drakes and make them 33% chance each, so the colors will be random since I don't know if they are constant or not. All have basically the same stats, and in TAKP it's lava_drake, in Red99 it's a_lava_drake so I'll go with Reds.

My VP is basically 100% without silverwing/hosh pathing, thats the only thing all my wurms roam properly, all the a_racnars are proper, classic loot,

Just noticed the whole zone is on Scale or w/e Kunark dragon faction so the whole zone is non kos to me, I'll change that for all of the trash to be factionless, or kos, and the nameds will stay how they are.

Also have to go through seeinvis/seehide and abilities, hopefully they transferred the npcspell tables over. Other than that finally one that went way better and easier than expected.

guardian_wurm, a_lava_drake, a_racnar. Think those are the only 3 mobs in the zone other than the bosses lol.

I think it's 100% other than Silverwing and Hosh not pathing, but honestly I think with how agro ranges are here people can sneak by silverwing, It's fucking done I'm taking the win and leave it there today tomorrow maybe the hole, the last hurrah.

My box is the only viable potential PVP EMU server currently out. What community? It's mainly me, with 10% from Bamzal, but that 10% I can't do so invaluable 10%.

My marketing strategy of calling everyone a faggot and a retard and rizz em with the tism is not going great though I can admit that. I've said it before for people to give my box a chance they'll need to lose their home first ROT I would assume. Red is already dead, stragglers solo levellers, or small crew PVErs. Some old timers just polishing their pixels but really no immersion or fun.

I still have the Hole to do, I've been working on it a long ass time so I've taken lots of breaks and come back. I want to finish the Hole before I burn out again and kinda have the main shit done. If people mass adopted my box even now it wouldn't be ready. So maybe a blessing in disguise!

Mobs in the dark elf rogue guild apparently see hide that's how my rogue died, updated all NPCS not to have see hide, I'll just update the 31 mobs that do see hide, maybe less than 20 with Kunark only from the wiki god bless.

Also they're not repopping at the times they're supposed to and this is really the shittiest part of EQEMU imo it works so shitty. I might see if I can do it with scripts.

Kryn in Oggok always up static. Ancient Cyclops should probably be farmed in OOT here. What else is there for night time shit Pyzjin I could change that to be more like I don't know I could copy a stormfeather type situation.

The problem with the night/day spawns is it goes off this shit called EQTime which is like a unix timestamp thing where if it gets out of whack with my server everything bugs right out.

I will probably phase out night time specific mechanics, I'll research if I can do with scripts somehow but I don't see any.

Yeah I can't think of any major issues. Nothing content wise, the only concern will be potential quest mobs that don't spawn at night or reset properly.

Founy / Tanir or w/e two rogue Guildmasters that are supposed to be pick pocketed for the Rogue epic, are supposed to respawn once a day to give you a chance of an item. That mechanic is broken so I just made them both lvl 1, 1 hp mobs that people will kill for the item.

I can't of many examples like this where it will affect things. Most things just have a timer you camp it etc. There aren't many Spawnconditions and daynight shit in the DB I could go through it that way one by one and see for sure.

I just repopped sro a bunch changed time to day night w/e that same spawngroup can spawn AC and honestly fucking good enough.

Deleted all the Velious+ spawn events and theres like none so I think I'll put this to case closed. If there's any random quests that have a day night mechanic I will add that mob as discovered.

Critical burnout has been reached. I didn't have it in me to finish the hole, so I opened it up and placed all the epic mobs + yael in there, at their proper spots.

It's fucking bush league, but that's all I got.

Going to leave the box up permanently at this point, try to build some street cred for uptime.

Veeshan peak is open too and 100% classic.

May work on it in a few months again.

I'd say the current situation for EQEMU PvP from a sociological aspect is.

- Tempest crew, Apex crew really, Tune crew. Red99 loyalists, won't play another box I don't see it, they climbed the ladder they have the stables and the bows. They would quit before playing another box, probably believe Red99 is the legitimate box.

- Perdition / Counter Apex crew, same thing as Apex just more PVE/alt focused.

- ROT crew, Colgate Holo crew, Outer, Engel and Gangsta crews. ROZ etc. They are more immersed in the social aspect, they like the people, they have their community, they can snub the people they don't like AND they have power over the GMS, creatively and physically probably to fuck people over they don't like. They are the big wheels "this should be like this" etc they do what I do lol.

CONCLUSION - Everyone plays on a shittier box functionally than mine, and the tiniest of tiny population left are solidified on their boxes for other reasons whether social or power based.

MY STANCE - Those boxes are physically shitty, the mechanics are shitty, they play shitty, I can and have done better. The servers ROT used were old and shitty before, now they are new and shitty with TAKP source. But the power the community has over them socially and in-game make it too tempting.

Addiction took over I couldn't leave it. Hateplane is a total shit show, I tried to fix little things here and there and finally said fuck it I do it myself. My skills have advanced 3x from when I did it the first time.

Inny 2.0 from TAKP, I had like 7 versions of Inny but not the p99 277k one, with the 2.0 racial item loot, so good I would have had to do this anyway. Switched his spells and everything. He still spawns at the top of the ramp though I kind of like that? Fuck it.

Mini Boss changes. They are now individual spawns, 24 hour respawn rate, static placement. P99 has them more rare, 3 days, random spots, not many up, I want these to be my main vehicle for Garage Box PVP.

- Grand Master in the Maestro Hall.
- Magi whatever in the Maestro Hall.
- Avatar of Abhorrance(SP)? Maestro Hall upstairs
- High Priest in the Church at the throne
- Ashenbone Brood whatever in the back behind the Church where the drakes are.
- Lord of Loathing up top that back room at the throne
- Lord of Ire up top that back room at the other throne
- Mistress of Scorn kind of back near the scorns where you normally find her down that hall.
- Coercor at one of the first houses near zone in on the way to church on your right.

2.0 Inny loot ranger epic piece and all the Racial Junk.

Streamlined all the NPCS loot tables so I can fine tune armor drop rates, I think I added mobs but they used new age loot tables. Hate was revamped 10 times over the years so it's really just the biggest of big shit shows on EQEMU I'd say.

I might add one Lich in to roam the entrance path just for classic vibes, maybe one rat, but I won't go back to full retard.

Hate was such a joke it's embarassing looking back thinking that was my best. All the Trash use the same loot tables now and I kind of went through most of them I'd say 80%, there could be a surprise, but I had multiple loot tables who knows what on what. Anyways here it is my first REAL self made hate, each trash mob 6% chance for each armor, all trash using the same loot table so standard, all minis with their own spawns. I need to go through the mini loot tables and make sure its 3 items each and the required items are dropping they looked a little wonky for some of them. Then a couple roamers just for immersion. The chest looks a little fishy I never touched those actually.

I'd say my box is easymode in another angle too that I didn't calculate, Mob Speed. What defines hardness... the way I see it.

- Stats/Abilities all that bullshit, we're 100%
- Agro Range we are severely under Live
- MOB Speed (new factor not considered) is severely under Live
- Resists we are severely under Live
- Charm Mechanics (ours doesn't break, doesn't really get resisted much, same with Paci or mezes, in PVE)

This is supposed to be for PVP, with PVE as the nostalgia nerd part. The easyness is part of the Low Pop / No pop dynamic I face here, by myself. Therefore I could increase the hardness but will not, in fact I will probably reduce the fear agro range from TAKP so I don't get agrod from half the zone when I zone in, when I'm testing fear.

I kind of broke pets somehow trying to adjust the pet attack command range lol. Default is 150. So I tried like 800, but there's two rules with the same name so I messed around with each.

When I was fucking around in hate I couldn't send my pet, so I just said fuck it put the range 10000 each and it was still microdick length, so I put it 100000 range and now I can send this guy across the MM courtyard wherever so at least it works lol I don't know what the fuck that default 150 bullshit is but I'll try to make it like whatever the range of your actual sight minus a tiny bit.

- Verified Quilmane works Garage-Box-Classic, still a real bitch, rare I killed 30 calfs one time to trigger her. She spawns at the 3 locations, Hermit, Centaur hill thingy, and all the way at the West wall. The west wall one doesn't path I'll have to add a grid.

- Decided to fix the Pyzjn spawn. Why. Because I can. Followed the rules for the GREEN server not blue, 5 spawns, 10 mins 45 secs each, at the wiki locations, with the specified spawn group.

NOTE there is no night cycle on my box, farm them day or night for a chance at Pyzjn. EQTime is Unix timestamp if my server timestamp differs from in-game time it desyncs, fuck all that.

They don't path just static I may or may not add grids to them.

Pet tracking doesn't work on my box and I noticed two rules for pet attack, one is the actual pet attack range, one is for the command. So i tried jacking the command up to 1 mil range and it doesn't work the way I want so I'll keep pondering about that I think it's a good bug p99 classic. I need to find a way to make the command unlimited range but require distance to actually send it.

If there was any hope for EQEMU PVP a couple things would need to happen.

- Mass adoptions of my Box as the One True Box.
- People form large guilds that are ultimately open recruitment.
- Everyone tries to have fun mass PVP where I make videos and we try to promote it and we appeal to more casual people.

NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Normal people - chased away because it's not fun. New people - Not happening. Veterans - Narcissists who over value their skills, TERRIFIED of deaths or fighting really basically losing. They cannot face the possible loss with the fake egos they have built.

I'll keep going, hoping some new people give a different type of PVP a shot, an older style of casual fun, not endless grind fake PVP servers. That's the ROT model, they want a heavy grind that they can accelerate faster than others, it's gimmicky and stupid and low iq. Gave a Renux mulligan with the proper mob it was beyond easy. If I wipe on General you won't see me for a week, I made the stats and everything good before. Took off quad attack, he had 32k hp not 26k, his dmg was a little off, who knows how the proc will work.

I do want to function alongside Red, I do play Red still lol. But it lacks population, it's stale. There's a deadly group of griefers with bows of the destroyer and vulak loot that are better than me, well that guy playing awfal was Tune or Grixus idk but not many are better than me I say that honestly.

My box is the training wheels box for Red, or the Garage Box for Red, I would say potential for way more fun PVP but the PVE won't be Red "realness"

Historically and stylistically I belong on Garage Box, but the ROZTS were so fucking bad and garbage servers I literally couldn't play them, and wish to take their role. They are clicky, and I insult them, but I made the best EMU so we'll see how it goes long term, they won't last on Red, so they'll have to do what I did (which is funny to me) or just play mine or keep playing their total dog shit lul. Get in the DB boys it's fun I like it, greases the brain pistons up(car reference for duik).

Took a lot longer than expected, he feared my charm pet and I wiped, then I did it with the tank and it wasn't too bad, one cleric, two charmed wolves, mage pet, druid dots, and just mana stone chealing. Made a static Vilnius because it's a night spawn wonky shit. I'll test the dmg vibes in PVE and do another one maybe. Rogue epic quest officially tested. For the record I won't be PVPing or contesting on my box, I was thinking I'd chip in for PVP for fun maybe at some points but that probably won't be viable. My toons are officially TESTERS. Fear kind of has the same thing as Hate going on. Few different loot tables on the same trash mobs, probably revamps and new quest items or new age items that I deleted by item, but still the old loot table value that is basically a replica of the old one. So I am just making them all the same streamlining it, making sure the armor drops are right.

I made every mob 180 agro range, which was the default actually and I made it higher to TAKP values, 300 range scarelings, reverted it back I'll test it out today maybe and see how it feels, I want it to be easymode, but not too fucking easy mode that it feels like you're playing in a newbie zone or something. 180 is pretty big.

I'll vibe test it.

OK so big Bamz came through with the fix, we just disabled /who all for the whole server. /who still works for zones.

There was a bug where it would crash if you /who all'd while someone was zoning?

Huge fucking thanks and that is great. No more crashes. Upped the zone count to 70 thought maybe it was network strain, I counted the world zones theres like 100, it says each town is 1 listing and it was like 92 so I duno 100-110 total Zones.

- Currently going through the Minis to make sure, what I am doing is giving them 3 drops each, the armor and items are all 100%, so it's just a random 3 items out of their loot table. I want to make sure they have their appropriate uber loot too Necro book, whatever rakusha that type of shit.

Did all the Minis, Minimum drop 3, Max drop 3. 20% chance of each armor piece, the weapons are 10%, the Epic Items(staffs) are like 6.5-7%, all of the loot matches the wiki I had to add the Beckon, and cleric hammer. Yeah I mean follow the p99 wiki and that's my box now.

If they don't have an Armor drop they don't have a minimum drop and they are itemized, the Necro book is like 7%, umm, the Lord of Ire oh yeah the Shield of Immaculate I put in.

My hate looks fucking good now holy shit. Rakusha is 6 or 7, Sunderfury is like 10 all the weapons are like 10. This was basically what it was set at I just added the armor and mindrops. I'll still have to feel it out.

Min drop 3 with an added Loot Drop ID for the Ranger epic gem, almost all, have a chance to drop that gem at 6% on top of the 3 drops.

Tallon Zek never had much griefing. There was the Dark team which had the advantage and population, with their safe zones. And the Lights who had their areas and safe zones and uber guilds.

The PVP would be Lights or Darks venturing out of their zones and getting swarmed, etc. And then later on guild vs guild.

Griefing was more of a Sullon thing with Fancy or whatever the bard. Red99 follows that logic with Tune basically. Tune roaming the world with an +/- 8 level range(not classic FFA was 4) as the best geared Bard in Nihilum slaughtering noobs 52+ trying to level with no gear. So there you go the people advocated TZ level range, FFA so they could grief and do what Tune did, but they weren't the best so they quit. (Colgate, Kringe etc) In fact there was no Loot and Scoot back then either, Tune would just corpse camp all day lol. Everyone just quit the box was beyond dead.

That is not what I am trying to replicate lol. Nothing has really captured the TZ magic on EMU. The guilds on TZ wanted to be known as skilled groups, PVPers, feared, make a name for themselves. That's why you PVP'd, it was repping your guild in the broader fight of Good VS Evil and proving you belong in the top guilds.

Also Duik when I say grinding I mean .01% of a kill per mob levelling, I don't mean doing content. I can't sit at Solb Royals anymore and do them for 9 hours to get through level 45 you get me bro. I still like the EQ content and playing EQ.

Why is MY box so different, won't you just get griefed anyway. Yeah kinda, I guess I would say I set up everything to be the least grief oriented box.

- Kunark End-Game Gear is roughly the same HP as Kunark End-Game Groupable Gear. There are status items and better items but anyone can compete. Velious ruins that but with Bowquest it isn't as noticeable, if Bowquest got removed the 5kHP troll war with a primal and vulak gear/fungi will be near unkillable.

- Levelling is not a heavy burden, you can find some hole somewhere and grind it out, on Red99 there was no escape, with the handful of zones, you would get followed all day anywhere. On my Box you will be able to get 60, no one can grind that to a halt.

- Raids have variance, I have written pages and pages, having lets say the guild situation at a 90-10 power level, and then lining all the mobs up in one day back to back, and saying well just PVP for them, is not possible, or logical. I have added variance to all the mobs allowing PVP windows and smaller guilds to get some mobs at off hours, times, snipes. On Red99 the guild would show up with 50, when you had 5, at the exact spawn time for years.

- GM's, Amelinda banned Holo for doing what Nihi did, Derubael sold pixels for RMT, Sirken was Gongshow pocket GM gave colgate an AON, and now finally Destar is Lewis, following you invis to get revenge lol. On the VZTZ boxes Terpuntine or w/e was the Pocket GM for Holocaust peoples. On my BOX no favors, no help other than bugs and problems fixes. I am probably the only EMU player that would not feel any peer pressure to help certain people. I care about everyone the same and I can honestly say that... lol.

- Quality of my box. The melee mechanics feel right, the graphics/lag feels right, pets feel right, the content and quality feels right. It feels like Red99s little brother, not a shitbox guildwars server from 2010. Or a TAKP server that chops and sucks my balls. Now someone else can make a PEQ box and rebuild it, but I probably put in hundreds of hours at this point, if someone does it I'll play idc as long as it's not endless grind box.

List of things left to do.

- Epic quests need to be gone through. All the Rogue turn ins were fine but the Renux needed fixing and the nighttime cycles are just statics.

- Internet / Lag / Large Zone #'s testing

- Thorough combing through cities for out of era mobs. I focused more on content specifically end game and dungeon content, I never spent a lot of time in the towns or doing trade skills, ever. So I fixed JC/Alchemy, maybe the other ones need fixing. I looked around Halas on P99/my box didn't notice anything crazy but I am sure there are mobs in the towns that are out of era. Maybe I'll do blacksmithing next but is it even worth anything at all same with cooking and what else is there brewing lol aren't they all 100% worthless.

- More thorough look at 58+ spells what's exactly on the list, make sure spell values for end game Kunark shit was adjusted to P99, Classic is 100%, Kunark might not be.

- Get people to play it (this one is a mystery to me I need a PR guy)

Zone crashed I fed the crash log into Grok it basically says the Toad feared my warrior and because I removed the map file it didn't have a way to calculate the locations or some shit, either way peasant brain fix to the Temple was not the play I put the map file back in lol. Seems reasonable you definitely don't need a bard, GARAGE BOX APPROVED.

The Hole doesn't look bad, TAKP DB has all the NPCS overlapping the Hole already so I could just remove all the old ones, throw all the new ones in... And all the Spawn2 data I can just select delete and transfer the other shit over.

Spawn group IDS, which is like their name, and then spawn group entries is like all the mobs in that spawngroup has to be done by hand, and I have to remove the ones in the destination first and make sure they are out of era/not fucking things up. Then loot tables, and with all the loot tables comes different loot drop ID's. So lets say the Table is for a mob with spells on it, some items, and then an epic piece or some shit. So you'll have the Loot ID for the wearable loot, then a separate Loot ID for like Kunark Spells, then a third LootID for like this Epic piece as a separate thing. So each Loot ID, Loot ID Entries need to be put in, on top of the Loot Tables, with the Loot ID's.

I did that for every reverted zone by hand. Like that Truck driver from New York who made a model of Manhatten over years and it's like 100% accurate every building. Don't look up guy manhatten model though you might look gay.

Only thing is the easyness of the planar trash mobs, the agro range is low, the MR is low, but I've come to the same conclusion over and over unless there's a decent population that's a waste of time. I could increase Agroradius, and MR, and make charm break, and crit paci but it would be creating the same problems Red99 has which is not enough people to do shit. Other than that it's a perfect R99 replica. My baby. I don't think there will be anymore changes and probably leave it like this and slowly work on improvements from here on out. I can still think of lots of shit but nothing crucial. I can pace myself now. I think it's finally finished.

Also yes I am single boxing this without any scripts or programs, or MQ2. I just click the boxes on the bottom bar, I know the order, grab with the tank, put the ench pet on slow, go to cleric start a ch, go to mage send pet, etc. It's not very complicated.

That being said if I was forced to PVP like this I could only control one player and get stomped, that's why I'm not concerned with Boxing, it's not like the people on Red99 don't do it anyway (look at Usefuls video of HOT lol).

They box, and pvp with /petition. Server is gay as shit.

Didn't do much today.

Fucked around with the Wizard NPC spell list they actually use their nukes now, tested in Guk, there was a whole shit ton of spells in their list I just made it basically the nuke list as priority 1 for each level group. They seem to cast the appropriate nukes now for their level and not just spam Gflux and other shitty MR resist shit useless. Put their buffs priority 2. Left root in priority 2.

Looked around for ways to disable NPC summoning mobs summoning charmed pets but maybe it works like that? Actually it probably does because they tank Klandicar with the Captain and then klandi doesn't summon the ench and rape him? So maybe classic?

I found in the rules pet tanking and disabled that, it was like you could have a rogue behind a charmed pet... kinda gay, haven't tested if it fixed it yet.

Permanent, long-term Kunark. Modern PEQ Server with TAKP patched in for revamped zones (Droga, Runnyeye, Cazic-Thule, Lavastorm, Hole, Veeshanpeak) etc.

Highly accelerated EXP(4x), boxing allowed, content is 100% replica of Red99.

Easier Mechanics - Aggro range is lower, MR on mobs is low, Charm is full duration no breaks, Pacify is unresistable. Designed to compensate for low-pop could be turned up if necessary.

Legacy items are in for all of Classic / Kunark.

Very Classic / Red99 feel, tons of time spent making the content classic. Out of era objects, textures, item enhancements, items, mobs. Tons of time making sure things are functional and tested, with only the end-game really left.

Variance of 24 hours on all 7 day Kunark Raid mobs, designed to give smaller guilds a chance to compete if it ever became congested working as PVP windows for certain zones, and making the times more random.

Tons of experience in EQEMU PVP, and Live PVP. Capable of doing anything in-game almost, path grids, quests, scripts, npcs, spawnpoints/groups, loot tables. Almost anything that doesn't involve changing source code but I have a guy that can do that too.

Source Code changes to Melee have been done, it feels like PVPing on Red99, so everything should feel and match Red99, except the features I listed above about agro range, MR, Charm, Paci. The actual combat will feel like Red99.

I lived it on Live, I lived it on Red99, this box will be long term permanent Kunark. I work on it daily, most of the testing was done by myself but I can fix anything that gets discovered.

This is kind of fun. I never wrote my Globalplayer.PL file it's like a hodgepodge of Bamzals Leaderboard logging shit. Which is actually I think probably hard to do to get the in-game leaderboard working but either way props to him. There was another event umm oh yeah Yellowtext, from Darksinga Github or whatever, so I kinda just pieced these fucking things together, I can't remember if Bamz cleaned it up or looked at it he might have.

But I asked grok for a script, he gave me one, it didn't work, so I gave him the whole file to rewrite, he? had to do it a few times to get it right but I basically just kept feeding it to him and giving the errors lol. So I have that Darksinga box auto scribe as you level spell script, which I think is a fucking great addition.

It's not custom, it's not too easy, fuck it man I think it's great especially with the highly accelerated EXP.

He wrote the whole thing making it efficient and shit so I have to test yellow text and leaderboard make sure those aren't fucked up either.

I will put in an auto train Disc portion at some point at the appropriate levels. Won't really need a research vendor either.

It's working but it's definitely the prototype. What I think is happening, is it checks everytime you level up whether there's new spells. Then if there is new spells (getting lvl 8 w/e) you rescribe all your spells as a request mage spells your level.

It also seems to rewrite outdated pets with the newer version, so it kind of reprints your spells everytime you hit a spell level for those level spells all of them, so the essentials stay like gate bind.

It works but it's a goofy thing, I'd rather it just print any new ones you need for the level, so maybe I'll work on it in a bit but it works at least. Mage epic is a concern not sure how I'll handle that.

Once drop traded a COF on Red when they were worth like 100k, more than a Fungi lol. Dropped in a Kelethin hut someone grabbed it. There was a time when plat was 4-1 cross transfer to blue I put like 150k into blue and I had like 600k was so fucking rich was pretty fun, going to the EC tunnel like a baller.

Also remember cheesing Naggy with Chuck(when Holo was banned on Red), he's alright always liked him I get he might not be a fan of me anymore but that's cool.

I also have another Naggy memory this one was when I played ROT briefly, I forget my guild name, but the guy running the show was called Ogor or some shit, and the attacking guild I think Outer crew? They just ran in and got blown up by a nasty caster chain, I don't know how many nukers but he'd yell a name then 6 seconds later that guy was dead, they just repeated it over and over was kind of impressive.

You have to drop the LDC room on them with a box or something you can't just run into a nasty ass caster chain like that.

Easy fix on the mage epic, just changed the spell_new id to something custom, it didn't add it in the script couldn't locate the spell I was worried it scanned the whole table for anything in level range, anyways that's easy I can just change the mage epic script final turn in to get that new item ID.

My box is so fucking good now it's crazy.

The box wasn't close to finished so I was kind of trolled I suppose while doing the real shit, with mickey mouse bs. Now that content is kind of closing in on forever state once it is fully tested I will release a Discord just in case people need me to reboot it or something get ahold of me for a corpse summon idk. I'll have a separate channel for "broken" shit which will be mickey mouse bs that I get to eventually, because the main shit has been focused on in depth.

Also next steps will be a Website.

Went through and cleaned up the Black_reavers, fixed the Lua script a couple days ago.

Went in today and apparently certain golems trigger the nameds... so I put Neh Ashiir in the first building after the Black_reaver 80% repop cycle. Lord_Ghiosk up the rogue locked ramp the first golem up there, and then Lord_Rak_Ashiir at the very last hut up on the floating ramp at the top. I think that's how it was? Also aligned their stats with P99, the reavers were a bit weak, the nameds a bit strong. They all seem to be good now.

Cleaned up Spells again a bit. So I changed how things work a bit I think improved it.

AutoScribe level spells script till 58. The rest are only droppable.

TAKP had 2 loot drop ID's for 58-60 Spells. I merged them into one not sure why they did that. They are on all endgame Kunark mobs, Juggs, Cliff Golem, Emp.

I also put in Min drops for Dragons, Sev Gore Talendor etc Trak VS all drop 2 minimum each from the 58-60 LD ID.

I was thinking about adding a couple more to that list, I added Bane of nife(57) to the upper list, I will add COH also. I will change their spellID's so they don't get autoscribed and the applicable scrolls spellIDS.

It's the best it has been for spells but it's still fucked. Changing the Spells_New spell ID and then just changing the scroll ID in the item spell scroll doesn't work? Why the fuck not. Either way basically I have Mage epic 255 disabled because I don't want it autoscribed, but I need to find a way to disable autoscribe but let the spells drop etc.

The answer was just adjust the script. Exceptions were added to the autoscribe script.

- Call of the Hero

The spell drop rates are perfect for dragons 2 each dragon. I'll have to thread the needle of something appropriate for Juggs, Cliff Golem etc drop rates and spells are basically 100%. I removed the lower tier spells from COM etc.

Tola will have 1 minimum, Prot 1 minimum? Emp 1 minimum, the Chardok royals etc.

Fine tuning point now everything is pretty good.

I would think I might make them very rare off juggs/cliff golems, and then the 1 minimum/2 minimum off significant mobs is probably the proper way to do it, like Red99 lol. I'll go over it drop rates and it's pretty much perfect.

58-60 Droppable spells will be TAKP rarity, 1% each spell on the mob. I ran through checked all the juggs saw a spell or two so pretty much classic.

Story time I did Emperor on Red with Dazed he was super excited for torpor, he's like bro just bring gaanon I don't want to wipe, it probably has torpor. I'm like naahh I need exp on Wowe fuck off, we'll be fine we have Felz like bis vulak gear monk, fattyboy. We had a cleric too can't remember.

I'm trying to remember exactly what happened. Felz summoned an eyeball, ran it in agroed the room it was like 6 mobs? and the Emp? I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I think Fattyboy shot the eyeball with his bow. Then somehow Felz got aggro and then everyone just kinda hesitated felz died, it trained back on fatty he died. I ran back and camped or something I didn't die.

Dazed was on Scarface his rogue for this and he fucking left me in the Crypt lul I didn't have an OT hammer I think I actually had to die and drag it out haha. I'm like really dude you're going to leave me in here and he fucking logged off hahaha.

He might have shot felz actually trying to tag the mob? and then the room agrod? I can't remember the specifics but it was highly lulz.
