Our small group logs in over the weekend. Let's crawl the Tower of Frozen Shadow.

Start on Floor 1. Get the key. Proceed to floor 2.

Get to Floor 2. See a couple of <Castle> characters, moving and casting with macros. Pulling the whole floor. No problem.

"Can we share one side?" (Trying to get a key)

"We are doing the whole floor. Sorry." "There's 6 floors bud."

/who <Castle>. Likely anonymous bots on multiple floors.

Watching another pull start. Swapping between bots. Every character moving in sync, sitting, casting, swapping.

Watch out, here comes a train with everything. Get out of the way, bc you're gonna get wrecked.

Is it "swarm-kiting" maybe not because, "I've never swarm kited in my life." "I know the rules very well." Yet you pull every monster in the path of other players.

I get it <Castle> needs to power level more bots. Enough to fill multiple crews on different levels of the dungeon.

Okay. Do what you are going to do.

But, if nothing else, pull off the mask and let's see your truth. Not your disguise.

You preach your gospel on the message boards: We play nice. We respect players.

Yet you won't share a single monster while you pull them in the path of other players.

You hypocrites. You whitewashed tombs. You wear a halo, while you hide your horns.

Virtue signaled, but vice delivered.

Keep pulling the whole zone <Castle>.

We won't be back to Tower of Frozen Shadow -- but at least have the decency to be honest about who you are.

When you're a large casual guild that essentially lets anyone join, you're going to have some bad apples mixed in. It happens.

The problem with Castle in my experience is that when you escalate things to their officers/leadership, they will jump through hoops to protect said bad apples. Even if you can show video evidence. It's like they can't differentiate between an attack on the guild/themselves personally and an attack on the bad actor(s).

It’s okay because there’s no bard involved? That’s the kind of “consistency” where exceptions are the rule.

Yes it may meet the letter of the law, but it defaces the heart of it.

Why are <Castle> bot teams on different floors of Tower of Frozen Shadow anonymous?

“Evenly enforced” just not evenly visible. Bring what is done in the dark into the light.

You wave your flag saying we stand for respect and fair play on the server.

Tower of Frozen Shadow had a decent amount of traffic by virtue of being the first thing you see when getting to Velious. Seems like it has a really great ZEM on p99 too. And it's one of the most awesome looking things in game from the outside. Skyshrine should have been like that too.

Imagine actually reading the play nice policy and understanding the rulesets, this was a non-issue of a camp dispute. All you had to do was hold them accountable to the rulesets and get CSR involved if needed.
