What is this attack???

Been trying to hunt in kitchicor forest and died twice by this

I think it is some kind of spell??? Becuase it happend after skeleton cast something on me. Then I just start walking in the same place and can't do anything. there was no Spell icon on the buff/debuff tray.

what is this and how can I prevent it??? Im necro btw

You were feared I would guess,possibly charmed but I don't think their are any enchanters other than the dark elves

Ah, yea that does sound like a fear.

Walking in place, confusion, sudden death.

That's me every time I go outside.

So it was fear.
It was weird but perhaps the developer thought that having player run around like a headless chicken was too much given the game's nature, so they changed the mob version of fear to be like this? XD

And I assume i have to deal with it the usual way a.k.a let my pet take it or fear it first?

Yeah the way to deal with casters as a necro is to keep them feared.
