Seasonal red server? Then transfer to red 1.0 after season?

Has there ever been any thought to creating a seasonal red server and keeping the long running red server as well? After a season you could transfer your character to the long running red server. Seems like this would generate new players to both the seasonal server and red 1.0.

Seasonal servers would advance quicker with the goal of creating some parity on the existing red 1.0 if the end goal is to keep that around forever.

I would be happy to donate.

Velious ruins the game. Unbalanced items, too much PvE grinding to get all those items, and the play space becomes too fragmented.

Red server should be perma-Kunark with custom changes. Can connect some of the Velious zones to Old World zones (putting them in Everfrost area is a nice way to make the west side of Antonica relevant and active) and keep some of the Velious era spells, but most of the Velious items need to be removed/nerfed.
