connected to internet at the airport, but cant log into server

I may be failing at the search function, but was not able to find a thread about this.

I am a computer neanderthal, and I cannot understand why I can access the internet on the airport wifi, but it wont let me log into the emu system at all to even select P99 server.

Anyone know why?

Most likely blocking ports yeh yeh. Although I've been able to play Rift at an airport before...

I've encountered a couple places where the ports are blocked for eqemu...but I've never found one where WoW is blocked.
