New laptop - can I get banned?

I just bought a new laptop and installed EverQuest on to it and P1999.

Do I have to apply for an IP exemption? I am only playing using the same account as before. I previously had a MacBook that played the game.

I do NOT plan to dual box / or play simultaneously on my two laptops.


Want to make sure I don’t run foul of the rules so wondering if a new laptop running the game requires some sort of registration to avoid getting banned. Thank you

Just to expand slightly, the IP exemption is only for if you want two people to play at a home with one internet connection (and you don't want to pay $3 for a VPN).
