Hello !

I am having i think the same error described in FAQ first question, but I cannot find the file "eqclient.ini" as described ... I tried to changed my screen setings its not working either

I also tried to reinstall everything several times but I still have the same error message.

If you installed in Program Files, the client doesnt have permissions to write files there

In this case, all files (ini, screenshots, logs etc) will be written in AppData. Should be something like:
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest

You will also need to select the View option to show hidden files to see the AppData folder
