Hi guys, I have a few characters on P99 Green already. I haven't played in probably a few years. I had forgot my password which surprised me because I thought I knew it, and so I came here, reset THIS one, but I believe the Game Password is not the same as this one for the website. Is there a way to request my actual Server Password ? I might have been using the wrong user name as well, because I don't think I used my User PW for the Site, on the actual Game interface, although maybe I remembered wrong and it is the same. My memory says they are two different things on two different servers, and I think I used my Old SOE Server Username. Any help on my next step to restore account. I willl need to also make another one, for my daughter, so we can play together sometimes. That is the whole point. She's only 8 so she's not gonna be a power player. Just for fun. hunting rabbits and doing fun quests etc. to start her out. She's bored and wants to play.

That's the EQEmulator SITE password. My computer remembered that for me. The one I am missing is the actual game login server. Where can I get that one rescued?

For future people who might also be trying to recover game login, what I did was restored my password here, then I remembered about the EQ Emulator site, with help from the project instructions and the answers I got in this thread.
From the emulator account, which I was able to log into (my computer remembered that one but you could also recover your PW with tools).
Once you are logged into the emulator account, and reverified, there is a tool to reset your game login. Just go down to accounts, and there is a link to reset your PW. I did this, and it DID work, but I was not able to play the game, because I got a message that my files were corrupted. So I had to re DL CD images of Titanium, remember how to use them to get the installer to work, and fortunately I was thoughtful enough to save the UI files so my windows wouldn't be too terrible.
Thanks for all the help getting access to my tunes. I am going to make another thread about ongoing questions and problems having to do with graphics scaling (Windows and text are incrediblly small), and also how do I make multiple accounts to play with my grandaughter (she's 8 so we won't be grinding or raiding dragons) without appearing as if I am breaking the rules about boxing.
Thanks again, and let me know if I can help anybody else do the same.

Oh man, this reminds me of.. damn, what was the migration. EZBoards was great, then they went to to Yuku which was bombed with bots, to the eventual heat death of the active live forums.

Pro tip for managing passwords-- I have an old laptop with no network card nor internet capability. I keep a text file on it to track all of my usernames and passwords for (relatively) low-important accounts along with a backup of the file on a cheap usb thumb drive that doesn't get used for anything else and sits in storage until the day I'll need it.
Before I implemented that system, I was the dude who forgot passwords and then had to keep going through the motions of resetting them over and over again. And you don't need anything fancy-- you could score a used laptop (I'd system restore it to factory default settings prior to using it) and a USB drive small enough to store a text file for a few bucks.
