Droga 1.0 spawns are all set up, loot tables not yet, Seb is perfect, KC is perfect, everything looks in good order from the PEQ folks, Chardok is revamped with Herbalist Spade/Argent Protectors.

Believe it or not I'm not offended if people don't play, I just think anyone playing ROT/Red are crazy and my box is better, and always getting better.

From connection/latency, to 1.0 content transferred from TAKP, the red99 quality/feel with their spells/melee code, in fact p99 Titanium + spell file client can play our Box perfectly. The EXP rate/2 box VZTZ combo of greatness, the pinnacle of EQ Kunark. Not a grind box with 3.5x EXP, while still the classic challenging content of EQ. To features, Classic Spell Icons, Classic spell Animations, Classic wolves/skellies/snakes, Leaderboard, YT. I mean it's just a dang great product.

If I'm being honest, I am the only person qualified to make an EQ PvP server, and if people don't play it won't hurt my feelings, I'll just think the community is dumb/dead? No problemo though seniors with whatever the people of the abyss choose.

I have fun working on my box, and although if it were 200 people 3 guilds PVPing I would feel it's a success, I don't care much for people and probably would just keep doing my own thing.

That being said, I surely wouldn't talk about it as often if there was one good PVP server currently.

Most boxes, traditionally, would have high population early, relatively, and then once the main guild won and consolidated etc the pop would die off into a solo guild raid box, and then die completely when they finished.

Which is why ROT has endless seasons, with brutal EXP rate, to keep people logging in day after day. One expansion per month, unlimited grind. I mean where does it stop. People that like that are in for the social experiences and connections or w/e. I'm here for the PVP.

So it's really, even if I succeed it will be temporary most likely. I would be OK with seasons and what ROT does, if the grind wasn't so god awfully slow, also their content is just total garbage for the longest time it was just ROZ(Image DB) they like content locked shit one box, the PVE is broken, it's empty, I mean it just is the state of EQEMU.

Due to highly accelerated EXP rate(3.5x) I found personally testing my box it's really hard to motivate myself to level from 1 in the noob area, scraping together some coppers, buying a few spells, going back out scraping a few more, buying a couple more spells etc, running back and forth to town wasting a ton of time in not a fun way.

I decided to add back my Boost script, which will auto level people to 20/spells/skills, you can sell your noob robe for 1 malachite, Necros can farm a bone chip etc, Melees will need to be twinked regardless because it's very close to Red99 functionally, you'll be swinging for 8 dmg with your rusty sword. Which is all classic and good.

I just found the early part, with accelerated EXP, and attempting to be an end-heavy PVP box, the very early part doesn't really function and I'm OK with that.

Decided to put the Instant 50/Spells script back in. I wanted to try a legit Classic, or /Kunark, and see if there was any desire to play it, there is not.

In light of that, instant 50/spells, Kunark is out, still work to do though.

I will try to appeal to the lazy gamer, the very small grind PVP box.

I will never wipe again, never go past Kunark, and any boost scripts will not contain gear, and haven't since the last wipe. The boost script may change as needed, right now there's just no incentive to grind a dead box.

Renamed box to DOTA EQ.

With instant 60/spells/skills it really is a fun box to play, it "feels" fun. The right amount of grind (Classic Content, Kunark content, epics, Raid content, quests, utility items, plat, fungis) etc. Playing a Torpor shaman with a manastone, or a 60 full book Necro etc etc just feels right.

I'm very happy where the content is at and like I said it's a metric that's hard to put into categories, but it just feels fun.

Lots of work to be done on Kunark content still.

The CT zone 1.0 on my box is like 100% recreated. All the pathers are working, all the nameds are working, all the loot is accurate, all the alligators moving back in forth in their pools, the maze roamers all going as they should, the pyramid patrollers, the basement, the AOF in the water globe, the Rubicite drops, the percentages, Wand/Gate pot functioning right, quest items etc.

I just figured out tonight how to transfer Grids and Grid entries, same shit as everything else but my CT is 100% classic/finished/recreated. It's my baby. It's like finishing a puzzle or something I'm very proud of myself from that zone lol.

Everyone has their own opinions like assholes or w/e so I decided to go full Red99. Red99 is the community standard currently and we will copy it basically content wise. My box is Kunark bowquest shouldn't be an issue, umm we allow 2box which is actually classic. No levelling, we differ in some areas but we want it to feel like the gold standard.

In fact all our spells/resists are the same as Red99 taken from their DB. My Coder is Bamzal in your video also =D

Didn't attract people, no ones interested in it, been done before a bunch, and there's other options for grinding. Believe me I'd love some CB/Blackburrow PVP, it's just not possible.

I would fill any PVP niche, but honestly I just don't think I can expect people to grind on my box? Farming gear/doing content is actually fun especially if you can just que up a 60 mage/cleric, or a torpor shaman etc etc, I'm hoping people will get immersed and it will lead to guild vs guild PVP.

I also joined a guild on Red, so I believe in diversifying your EQ portfolio.

If you lower EXP rate to ultra slow, people will just get bored and log off, it won't create this PVP situation, if EXP rate is fast people will just blow past it all anyway.

Levelling is out dated, it could work on a real legit ass box, like a Live TLP or a Takp PVP release Red99 2.0, but my box? It won't happen, people won't trust it or feel like it will last, the population will be ultra low... it ain't easy out here for box creators in 2024.

125+ MR - 98% resist rate to root

Yeah I remember in Classic being rooted with 100 regularly.

I hate to disappoint people but the "resist code" of p99, is basically just stock resists, but they crank up the ResistDif column in the DB to 25. I personally view 25 as too low, and would make MR more valuable and do Resistdif 50 or 75 etc, and make those spells useless, but that actually effects PVE too and mobs become overly resistant.

I'm not like trying to recreate the wheel or argue this or that point, in my opinion I would delete bards, make mr spells useless etc etc, but this isn't that project. It's a Red99 clone, with no grinding required, classic quality content/loot/legacies, and 2 box, and kunark.

To remake Droga, normally I just copy everything over from TAKP and delete what's in it's place(for zones not remade 1.0) on our DB if it's a non issue.. Droga was an issue, so what I ended up doing was copying over, because TAKP reconstructed the placements/npcs/loot tables of classic droga, PEQ doesn't have that. So how I solved that issue was I copied all the spawn2(locations, spawnentries, and spawngroups over, and the NPC(stats loot tables and shit) group for Droga over. But I couldnt copy the loot tables over without conflicting with our DB. So I noticed PEQ patched TAKP in(loot tables, npcs, but not spawn locations etc), so I copied over from a Fresh PEQ, Loot Tables, Loot table entries, Loot drop, and loot drop entries from the fresh PEQ, then just linked all the droga NPCS Loot tables to the imported PEQ ones with non conflicting location.

Proud to present classic 1.0 droga on Dota EQ, also, I can do grid entries and such, not just make my own pathing grids, but I copied over the ones for CT/Droga/Runnyeye 1.0 etc etc.

The fresh PEQ DB doesn't have the spawn locations/spawngroups etc imported at all for Droga 1.0. Just imported Loot tables and NPCS.
