noob player, corpse decayed after long break

hello :)

My character's name is Yevan on Green. I am a level 22 enchanter. I died some time a few months ago and because life got in the way I had to take a break from P99. I came back and found my corpse has decayed and I can't recover my gear.

Am I SOL for this or is there a way some GM could respawn the corpse?

I believe the staff will (unclassically) restore your corpse if you /petition.

It gets better. You've gone through the hell levels of an enchanter, it just keeps getting stronger and especially at 40+. Best class in the game, hope you stick with it.

GMs will definitely summon your corpse for you, though I don't know the process.

I've let my corpses rot a fair bit over the years. Whether it was for stupid reasons like zoning into VP for the lullz or not feeling like retrieving a corpse deep in howling stones. Petition the GMs and ask for it to be restored. They'll place it at the EC and WFP zone line.

I believe the only exception is corpse rots in plane of sky. Don’t rot there.
