Hi I have been looking around on the forums and wiki and can't find anything that says what monk's soft cap for ac is before starting to get diminishing returns. Does anyone have an answer or good guess and also what % return per ac after the cap is met? I'm specifically wondering for levels 50+
Thanks
I'm looking for something similar to this that's available on takp
Class Soft Cap
Warrior 430
Pal, Sk, Clr, Brd 403
Rng, Shm 375
Dru, Bst, Rog, Casters 350
Monk 315
Over-Cap Returns
Class Returns @ 60 Returns @ 65
Warrior 20% 33.3%
Knights 16.7% 25%
Bard 12.5% 16.7%
Rng, Bst 10% 14.3%
Mnk, Rog 5% 8.3%
Others 5% 5%

monk definitely get a higher % of AC than rogues on return over soft cap, but not sure on exact numbers. rumor is they also get 33% like warriors.
theres a post here (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=268325) i reference, but the numbers arent
[QUOTE]Soft Caps
Cloth..........= ~75 worn AC (yes its really that low)
Leather......= ~100 worn AC
Monk..........= ~120 worn AC (if they are under 15 stone wieght)
Chain.........= ~200 worn AC
Plate .........= ~300 worn AC
AC returns after the soft cap has been reached
45%: Warrior (from Devs)
33%: Knight (from Devs), Monk (reportedly equal to Knight? via Zajeer?)
23%: Cleric, Bard (via L2), BZR (rough estimate based off of parsing)
17%: BST, Ranger (BST is ~1/2 of the monk, ranger hearsay)
6%: Druid, Enc, Mag, Nec, Wiz (~1/3 of BST -- Druid was quoted as "lowest")
Rogue, Shaman? Probably they are close to cleric returns.

Thanks much would be cool if they had the same softcap and returns as warriors but it doesn't sound like anybody really knows for sure:)

On the melee forums some folks talk about content that monks can solo based on AC: 1100 to 1600. So it seems to be a significant impact, but no one is providing hard data.

So level 50 or below the cap is Level * 6 + 25 then 50 + they remove the cap?
