Mid 50s grouping is brutal

What options are there? 51 Warrior and a 55 Wizard. Wiz I feel I can squeeze out quadding to 59. Warrior not so much. I started playing again a few months ago after a very long hiatus (just as Kunark was launching).

KC has been fairly active for me recently. Sometimes things are happening in WL too.

The wizard is quite happy doing quadding to 59 - it can be slow, but it is steady (as long as you don’t get a desynch or a moment of freeze!).

Wizard is good for /who all velks, karnor, seb, wake, etc and just heading over to where groups are happening and being like “invite me”.

These days people are desperate / cool enough to invite a wizard to cc. You can also run an aggro kite with tflux.

Keep an eye out for PLing bards - some might recruit or include you to speed up their service.

Bum buffs and do HK for the warrior.

I hate quadding too. Just clock in and clock out at Suits. Find days you can grab it early and stay there a long time. I would play a different alt if they were camped or ask if they can send a tell if leaving. You have the warrior so that’s perfect.

Yeah I agree it's been pretty rough. I've tried to organize a static group to combat issues finding groups when I'm on, and even that was impossible to get going.

I don't wanna say the servers dead but it's definitely rough and I wouldn't call it thriving unless you're into raiding.

Warrior and shaman is a good duo. Getting a static together sounds like a challenge on any server, just try to make some connections with people in your level range that you can work with.

As long as you're dealing with BGs, Hands, Knights/Protectors, decayed soldiers, sure. It is okay! There are a bunch of lower blues too. I'm messing around there on my 59 wiz atm :).

most players will always take the path of least resistance

as someone who has played / raided on a multitude of chars to and at 60...leveling in weird duo / trio / 4 mans in quiet zones is the best that p99 has to offer

they really need to nerf KC's ZEM into the ground and force people to go elsewhere

Instead of doing the "not classic", we should try actually doing classic.

Live EQ rotated ZEMs every year or every other year (too lazy to check the patch notes). P99 has rotated them once or twice in it's 10+ years of operation.

If we made P99 more like classic, the problem solves itself.

KC also has an open floor plan. hole is linear, seb is linear, chardok is linear, hs is linear, and velks while being a pretty cool zone, is also terribly designed. They definitely slapped it together under a time crunch to ship velious.

We as humans are always going to want better, even while knowing that what we currently have is as good as it gets.

I'll never understand why people gravitate to KC, absolute shit zone and one of the slowest/worst places you can level 50-60. Other than a few quest drops there is literally no value in the zone existing.

Go to Seb, go to Chardok, go to Wakening lands, go to Cobalt Scar, go to velks, go anywhere but KC and you'll have a much better outcome.

Quad kiting is the way for the wizard just solo to 60. For the warrior you're going to need to be the one that takes charge, do /who all for the classes you need to get a group going, message them, align on the best (hint: its never KC) zone to meet up in and kill some shit, when people are heading out start finding their replacement ASAP to keep the group alive.
