Error 1017 Cannot get past "Play EQ" button on server login

Every time I use login, get to server screen and select server (Blue or Green). Once pw is put in and Server is selected, Pressing the play button results in a smaller black screen to appear and then I am booted back to the login in screen. Set Win Compatibility to SP3 and admin on eqgame.exe. No change.

I have the same CPU it is indeed higher than 5Ghz.

I've tried all the workarounds and solutions and have been unable to get the game to run. I've resigned to using my laptop which is an Intel chip.
