I would argue in the right context feeling pleasure from a monetary reward isn't "wrong" butt there are too many contexts which it is infact, bad. Money is dangerous. The appropriate feeling is "sus". Butt necessary in order to be an American.

You shouldn't feel excessive shame either. It's generally a necessity.
