Please don't make this about stat min-maxing that's dumb.

Which do you think looks the coolest or has some weird quirk, item, or quest that makes them the greatest knight of all?

Can any paladin ever get along amicably with the Thex Collective?

Screenshots are always welcome, especially fashionable screenshots.

Personally my favorite is whatever this guy is, because there's something dark and curious about fighting a war against the living dead within your own ranks while still dealing with threats from the outside. It's weird the 'noble heroes' of EQ want to kill you.

The best knight race choice is always one that barely has enough STR to even wear full plate and carry weapons

Barbarian

Why they can't be a paladin makes no sense to me, they are probably the most anal race of them all

If I had to take a wild guess, it's probably a religion thing. Barbarians mostly worship the Tribunal I think. While "Justice" as a diety sounds very Paladiny, I don't think the Tribunal is a diety that grants spell power.

Everquest was heavily inspired by DnD. Paladins and Clerics in DnD generally get their powers from their Gods through worship. That is almost certainly the reason why you can't be an agnostic Paladin/Cleric in Everquest.

As for the poll, Dwarf for barrel roll and awesome custom velious hat graphic.

I wanted them to win.

Mith Marr made the barbarians.

Mith Marr made the barbarians.

Interesting! I didn't know that.

The weird thing is Barbarians cannot worship either Marr, so there must be some kind of weird disconnect there. The only consistent diety all Barbarian classes can worship is the Tribunal.

I guess the Marr's didn't like Barbarians very much hehe, or they purposely built them to not use Paladin/Cleric magic for whatever reason.

Or maybe the Barbarians don't know that the Marr's created them for whatever reason.

Barbarian Beastlords could be Mith Marr apparently. Which is strange.

Yeah you would think that if Barbarian Beastlords could worship Mith Marr, then Barbarian Shamans should be able to as well.

Erudite always, simply because Shield Of The Stalwart Seas. I love that item, so unique.

I’m still a fan-boy of the tunare diety quest sword. Hands down one of the prettiest weapons in the game and not really hard to get. It’s got a Breastplate’s worth of ac and a useful proc that’s nearly unresistable (-100 mod)

I love/loved swinging that blade

I'm fan of the look of High Elven classic chain armor, and paladins (and clerics to a lesser extent) are generally the only ones who might have a chance of rocking it, even if only at low levels. So I choose them. But honestly all the paladin races are fairly equivalent, game mechanically speaking. So choosing which one you think looks coolest is the way to go.
