Which casters get the least out of Firepots bind?

I have an enchanter with firepots bind. Not sure how I feel about it given that enchanters DO tend to die and it's advantageous to bind outside the instance. Also, Enchanters can enjoy/solo Velious content and if need be always hammer to Kunark just like anyone else.

Necromancers are more limited in Velious and for them a Firepot bind perhaps makes the most sense because of this. Sadly I didn't manage to get an ikky necro bound there.

Mages, hmm, they don't really solo much at all in Kunark or anywhere else, hammer sorta gets them to where they need to go anyway. Not sure how useful or unuseful a firepot bind would be for a mage.

Wizards can port.

Has to be mage,they just get parked in one spot and log in for 15 mins.
For leveling they also would want to be bound where their hunting, so even then I would think mage.

I eventually got Vessel Drozlin on a quake using my Enchanter's firepot bind, so that was nice. Velious was a lot more playable after I gave the bind up. I'm not sure if I would bind there on a fresh server. I loved the convenience for banking. For HS I could just bank my OT hammer and use that for corpse recovery, but it might make more sense to just be able to bind at seb when doing seb during kunark.

Seems like porters gain the least.

Fire pots seem a fast way to a few spires so also fairly fast to nexus and nk or gd too.

I have low level characters that are bound there and I expect there to be another fresh server at some point, i.e. I could make a necro in the future and play for instance a mage today. I could also forego my firepot bound enchanter for a gnome one because gnomes are cool.

If I had lower level characters bound I'd probably keep them bound while leveling, until I hit a compelling reason to rebind. And I might think towards leaving one of them bound long term, just to have one for errands.

If you have an OVP or by other means can get through then PoM bind makes sense, especially so if you can solo in PoM.

That gives you access to a ring too so you don't have to bother a guildie for a wizbot port and also little/no risk of deathlooping and also free/cheaper to bind there.

The run is certainly takes a while though. So depends how badly u wanna do ToV I guess?

I wish I had a firepots enchanter just for general farming stuff. I wouldn't main the character, but I'd kit them out in tunnel gear to just easily farm classic shit.

Funny enough, my wizard still uses his Firepots bind. This is the closest you can get to the Raptor quads in TD, plus he can literally bank in 5 seconds and hit EC tunnel in less than a min. Really handy for EC trading and selling.
Being able to gate in to the best wizard Exp spot, raptors, is what it's all about. On live I loathed having to port to North Ro and levitate and run my azz to TD for the raptor spawn. Unfortunately P99 nerfed raptor exp to less than half of what it should be.

ww/tov bind means you can carry a gate pot and kill dragons with impunity. Doz faction engages still an issue but if you are able to bind here you prob have a 2nd (at least) char who remains CoV faction friendly.
