Any advantage to worshipping Veeshan as a bard?

Finally decided to roll a bard. I noticed that they are one of the only classes that can worship Veeshan. Worshipping Rallos Zek gives you faction with Kael, does Veeshan give any benefit with CoV or Skyshrine?

The benefit of Veeshan is that they are the only class that can be Veeshan. Go Agnostic so you can literally go anywhere with illusion masks. Gluck.

Yes, but not a lot. I forget if Veeshan bards start at Dubious to COV, or almost Dubious.

You can wander through Veeshans peak unharmed and use the zone as a stepping stone to posky. you can also zone into 3 or 4 other places around norrath (freeport, swamp of no hope and somewhere else i forgot)

Aren't there locked doors that require a rogue? I always wanted to bind a rogue in Skyfire to be able to sneak/hide past the trash mobs and have a high Ring of Scale faction for a kind of "firepot room", but didn't think that bards could do it.

Has anyone tested this?

Edit: Wiki says locked doors need 210 lockpicking skill to unlock, so it can only be done with a rogue. Also, the "other place" you mentioned is Skyfire, so not that useful hahaha

I think there are only 1 or 2 zone out pads that are behind locked doors you can still make it to most of them without rogue pick lock.

Has anyone confirmed the "You can wander through Veeshans peak unharmed " with a human bard worshipping Veeshan?

I tried this on Half elf bard with 0 skyfrire/dragon kills. (I can be non kos in skyfire to the dragons but faction song didn't make me non kos inside VP unfortunately)

Pretty cool if this is true for human bardos

I'm of the impression that everyone is kos to the trash inside of VP and that faction (which can be earned - Ring of Scale) is just for the named mobs.

It was also my impression, which makes it only work for rogues or... classes with invis IF the trash mobs don't see through invis. However, rogues can pick locks so they can access more zones from the hub.
