Starting a new Wizard

Haven't played Wizard on P99 but had one back in 2001. Got to like 29 and quit haha.

So far I have Tola robe, dizok scepter, 2 imbued sol ro rings, jboots, flux staff. Is this pretty much the tool kit to 60?

Tola and scepter to get me to 29 to start quadding.

i'm of the opinion that wizzies are one of the classes that benefit the most from just paying for some PLing. i'd say u got the goods, things that'd help you most beyond that are intangibles like a source of POTG or c2 etc. i thought tola robe would be way funner but melee just sucks on casters before you even hit the teens

Yeah. At least to 29 for quad snare.

1-29 should be cheap enough. Well worth it.

Wiz solo doesn’t take off until 34. 29 is pretty rough still since your
Quad nuke still sucks. You have a good start. Just make sure you go dark elf since hide is really nice on a wiz for those afks. As other have suggested do whatever you can do to assist to 34 is helpful either pl. I frequently donated for Potgs on my wiz which made a huge difference.

i think i could only do wizard in a static duo w/ an enchanter or bard

I got PL'd to like 39 or something, I quadded for a couple levels I'm EW, then got PL'd to 60
