Can confirm, URN is a good time. Except that I met the absolute worst person I've ever had the displeasure of playing with, Exwyfe from Riot. He's a fine gamer but he sends me unsolicited nudes constantly and keeps trying to get me "into the lifestyle".

The rest of the (completely open to anyone) crew is a solid 6.5/10.

Had two goals in creating URN

1) Create an option for people who wanted to farm the camp would were excluded from the previous monopoly.
2) Lower Urn prices

Sadly I was only able to reasonably manage the first one. Join, buy, complain... at least you got options now :)

The problem with lowering Urn prices is that they're effectively set by supply and demand, and you can't really change supply except by getting more of them up for sale for plat. You could make them go up in price if you forced out most of the people who were camping them for cash, but you can't really drop them much since a lot of them were already being sold.

It is nice to have an option to get an urn without needing a massive time commitment all at once though. I don't think the total time spent to get an urn with URN has dropped by much, but at least you don't have to do it in 18 hour chunks with multiple people.

the main issue is supply is less because people in urn dont really sell. so those of us that dont have time to commit to it but are good at farming plat, the option now is to overpay vs when farmers had it. id rather have farmers

You're right though, there are def less urns to go around BUT so many people have been hyped to finally be able to do the quest themselves (or with a cool 150+ person semi afk squad).

I just got my first urn from the group.

I didnt expect to get this item on p99. Im the type of person that HATES asking for help, so to ask my friends to sit at a camp for several hours for a chance at an urn was not in the cards for me. Never mind potential elf lawyers and etc that make a camp like this no fun for an introvert like me.

This network made it super painless to join, and accrue hours on my schedule. I met some new people, and made some little plat.
